0:00 Dr. Khalifa: 23.
0:02 [54:23] Thamûd ...
0:04 another group of disbelievers
0:06 [54:23] ... rejected the warnings.
0:07 [54:24] They said, "Shall we follow a man like us? We will then be wrong and stupid.
0:15 25.
0:16 [54:25] "Was he chosen out of all of us to receive the message? He is a flagrant liar."
0:24 26.
0:25 [54:26] They will find out tomorrow who the flagrant liar is.
0:29 27.
0:29 [54:27] We sent the camel as a test for them. Just watch them and be patient.
0:35 28.
0:37 [54:28] Tell them, ...
0:37 This was directed to their messenger, Saleh.
0:41 28.
0:42 [54:28] Tell them that the water shall be shared between them at specific times.
0:47 29.
0:48 [54:29] They consulted their leader and after receiving the message, he slaughtered the camel.
0:54 [54:30] How terrible was my retribution and warnings.
0:58 31.
0:58 [54:31] We sent upon them one strike, whereupon they became like harvested hay.
1:04 [54:32] We have made the Quran easy to remember. Is there anyone who wishes to learn?
1:09 As you know, God's signs suited every age.
1:16 In that age, a camel that knew when to eat and when to drink on what day was a miracle for those people.
1:23 They were dealing with camels a lot.
1:25 At the time of Moses, magic was a big deal.
1:28 At the time of Jesus, healing the sick was a big deal.
1:34 At the time of Muhammad, the literary excellence was a big deal.
1:38 They had the literary competitions.
1:42 Now, the computer is a big deal, and now we have a computer miracle.
1:48 Computer, a miracle that is suitable for the computer age.
1:56 How can you divide the number that Abdullah did, when you take the number of verses
2:03 and put the number of each verse in every Sura in the Quran, you end up with a half-mile-long number.
2:14 12,692 digits.
2:18 This number of digits is a multiple of the common denominator of the Quran, the number 19.
2:24 And also that number is a multiple of 19.
2:30 When the Quran was revealed, the biggest number they heard of was a thousand.
2:33 That was the biggest number. Well, 50,000.
2:36 But then any multiples of thousand, anyway.
2:40 So, how can you read this number?
2:42 12,692 digits.
2:46 If you go to the mathematics department at the university, tell them "read this number." "Get out of here."
2:54 But it's true. The number is here, conforms to the code.
3:02 So, this is the computer age.
3:05 You have to have a computer to know about this number.
3:10 I can bring you the computer printout that Abdullah wrote in,
3:13 this thick papers,
3:17 just, just solving this one problem, about this one number, dividing it into 19, and it is divisible.
3:32 So during the time of Thamûd, the camel was the sign.
3:39 During the time of Moses, he threw down the staff and it became a serpent,
3:43 and swallowed the serpent, the, the other snakes of the magicians.
3:48 This is why they believed, because they realized this is no magician. They are the experts.
4:01 Before we go to the people of Lot, are there any questions?
4:06 Number 33,
4:08 [54:33] The people of Lot rejected the warnings.
4:12 [54:34] We showered them with rocks. Except Lot's family; we saved them at dawn.
4:19 [54:35] That was a blessing from us; we thus reward the appreciative.
4:25 [54:36] We had warned them of our strike, but they doubted the warnings.
4:31 [54:37] They negotiated with him about his guests; we had blinded their eyes. They have deserved my retribution and warnings.
4:42 [54:38] On the following morning, they were hit by devastating retribution.
4:47 [54:39] They have incurred my retribution and warnings.
4:51 [54:40] We have made the Quran easy to remember. Is there anyone who wishes to learn?
4:58 So, as you see consistently, the warnings, there are enough warnings followed by the retribution.
5:04 So, in other words, God is telling the people, you're neglecting your souls. You're neglecting yourselves. You're going to incur retribution.
5:17 The people of Lot were, were wicked homosexuals.
5:24 You're not doing the homosexuals any favor by giving them their "rights."
5:33 You have to talk them out of it, somehow.
5:38 The last 10 years, they have been demanding their rights until they got AIDS.
5:45 Because now you can't just take San Francisco and turn it upside down like Sodom and Gomorrah.
5:49 There are many good people in San Francisco.
5:53 Dr. Khalifa: But this AIDS hits selectively the homosexuals.
6:09 Martha: deserved my retribution and warning (unintelligible)
6:17 Dr. Khalifa: Well, if you're doing everything right, why should you be warned?
6:19 Martha: (unintelligible)
6:24 Dr. Khalifa: Which verse is that?
6:27 Martha: (unintelligible) 92. Incurred
6:30 Dr. Khalifa: I like "incurred" better than "deserved." (unintelligible). They have...
6:34 Martha: (unintelligible)
6:38 Dr. Khalifa: I don't know. I have to look it up. They have deserved my retribution and warnings.
6:44 Martha: (unintelligible) their retribution (unintelligible)
6:55 Dr. Khalifa: Well, if you're, if you're doing everything right, you don't deserve a warning.
7:02 As a matter, as a matter of fact, wherever you're working, you'll get a warning only before you get disciplinary action.
7:09 But if you're doing everything perfect, you don't get a warning, do you?
7:13 Dr. Khalifa: Warning! You're doing everything perfect.
7:18 Martha: (unintelligible)
7:28 Dr. Khalifa: In the new translation, I'm using the word "incurred" in place of "deserved."
7:34 Because we learn that people incur whatever happens to them.
7:40 Remember the law in the Quran, that nothing happens to you except as a consequence of your own actions?
7:46 Dr. Khalifa: Nothing happens.
7:49 Martha: Incur (unintelligible) retribution (unintelligible)
7:55 Dr. Khalifa: Did you ever get a warning where you work
7:57 Dr. Khalifa: that you, that there's something going?
7:59 Martha: Yeah, (unintelligible), And I understand, I can understand the idea (unintelligible) incurring (unintelligible)
8:08 Dr. Khalifa: It's okay. I don't care about linguistics as long as....
8:11 Martha: You incur (unintelligible)
8:14 Dr. Khalifa: The warning is a negative thing.
8:16 Yeah, warning, you're gonna be demoted next month.
8:21 That's negative, you know. Unless you straighten up, you're gonna be demoted.
8:30 That's, that's a negative.
8:37 Any other questions?
8:41 This is a, this is a, Sura is short, but it sure is full of lessons.
8:52 The Arabs have been warned.
8:54 I can tell you right now, we're gonna witness a terrible, terrible disaster coming up to the Arabs.
9:03 Today in the mail, I just got a newspaper where they had the headlines telling them
9:07 that they're not following the Quran. They received the warnings.
9:17 This time they didn't put my negative. They put the real picture.
9:24 They're calling me names and everything, but at least they didn't put the negative.
9:34 So, they received warnings.
9:45 I don't know what will happen, but the Quranic teachings point at a, a terrible disaster happening to the Arab world.
9:53 Of course, they have been, they have been incurring a lot of humiliation, problems in the last 40 years.
10:00 But now the warnings have been really concentrated to them.
10:10 Dr. Khalifa: They have been told that every single mosque does not uphold the commandments of the Quran, not, not a single one.
10:20 Dr. Khalifa: So, we'll see. A woman: (unintelligible)
10:21 Dr. Khalifa: Hmm?
10:22 A woman: You say, they have been told.
10:23 Dr. Khalifa: Uhum.
10:25 A woman: How?
10:27 Dr. Khalifa: I just got a newspaper that is very popular there, and there's quite a prominent display of the warnings
10:38 Dr. Khalifa: in there. It's not the first time either.
10:43 Martha: (unintelligible)
10:45 Dr. Khalifa: Which newspaper?
10:46 Martha: (unintelligible)
10:48 Dr. Khalifa: Warnings that the, that the Islam they're following has nothing to do with the Quran or the prophet Muhammad.
10:53 Martha: (unintelligible)
10:55 Dr. Khalifa: Yeah, yeah, Allewaa Al Islami (اللواء الإسلامي), it's called.
11:03 Dr. Khalifa: But it's been in almost every newspaper over there.
11:07 Martha: (unintelligible)
11:09 Dr. Khalifa: Magazines, big, the most famous magazines.
11:11 Martha: (unintelligible)
11:14 Dr. Khalifa: The average Egyptian heard about the miracle of the Quran at least, yeah.
11:19 Martha: (unintelligible)
11:25 Dr. Khalifa: Yeah.
11:26 Martha: (unintelligible)
11:27 Dr. Khalifa: You met the wrong people.
11:28 Martha: Yeah, though I didn't meet many (unintelligible)
11:40 Dr. Khalifa: Yeah, it's been, it's been really intense.
11:43 It's been intense.
11:46 Dr. Khalifa: Publications and the warnings, and everybody heard about it, almost. Martha: It has
11:49 Martha: (unintelligible)
11:53 Dr. Khalifa: No, it's been in Akheru Sa'a (آخر ساعة). You know what Akheru Sa'a looks like, Rosol Yusuf. A woman: Yeah.
11:57 I have the copies here.
12:02 Dr. Khalifa: Al-Ahram (الأهرام), Ahram (أهرام), every day in Ramadan, they publish something, for the last three years.
12:09 Martha: One of my, I don't know, my brother in-law (unintelligible)
12:15 in a very (unintelligible)
12:22 Martha: I remember having talked to (unintelligible)
12:30 Dr. Khalifa: Right.
12:31 Lisa: You know, Martha, you can also have Christians who read the Bible daily
12:37 about Christ, and Christ says repeatedly in the Bible that he's the son of man.
12:45 The whole message, basically, revolves around worshiping God alone
12:48 There are a few distortions in the message there, but they don't get it.
12:51 Lisa: It's probably the same thing.
12:54 Martha: I just (unintelligible) distortions, you know. The more I find myself looking and questioning into them, the more I find them.
13:00 Dr. Khalifa: But everything you told us, Martha: (unintelligible)
13:02 Dr. Khalifa: everything you mentioned, Martha....
13:04 Martha: I was just recently (unintelligible)
13:07 Martha: the whole thing, the whole thing is about, based on Jesus Christ.
13:12 "We have Jesus Christ. Salvation through Jesus Christ."
13:15 It's just, you know, I always thought it was just, you know, one or two really famous ones,
13:19 like none should come to Father except through the son
13:22 (unintelligible)
13:23 Martha: or else (unintelligible).
13:31 Dr. Khalifa: Well, the epistles are now they, they, they have a Jesus conference every year.
13:37 And they, they announced that only the first two epistles are correct, the rest are junk, they said.
13:44 They have no confidence in them.
13:45 Dr. Khalifa: So, so, but if you look at the Gospels, look at the Gospels, the majority is truth.
13:49 Lydia: You get 99% of Christians who'd never hear that either.
13:53 Lydia: sam as, Dr. Khalifa: Yeah.
13:54 Lydia: same as the Muslims, I mean, even if they hear it, Dr. Khalifa: Exactly.
13:56 Lydia: they won't hear it.
13:57 Lydia: And the Christians would, you know, if they heard somebody say that, they wouldn't hear it. Dr. Khalifa: Yeah.
14:01 Dr. Khalifa: They will not recognize it. Yes.
14:02 But it's in newspaper every year, the Jesus conference every year. In fact,
14:06 Dr. Khalifa: these most famous statements, they declared they were fake.
14:11 A woman: (unintelligible)
14:13 Dr. Khalifa: Like the one just mentioned "I'm the way. I'm the life and the way and this and that."
14:17 "None goes to the Father except through me." That's a fake one.
14:20 And this is coming out of the Christian scholars.
14:24 Martha: So, you (unintelligible) the Gospels, (unintelligible) majority?
14:29 Dr. Khalifa: 99% is truth.
14:32 For example, none of them says "Jesus, son of God" except John.
14:36 And in John, it is only four times. John is the most recent of the four.
14:41 Dr. Khalifa: But the other three don't say "Jesus, son of God."
14:44 Martha: And so, they are the ones who (unintelligible) the letters to Paul (unintelligible).
14:47 Dr. Khalifa: Those are epistles, yes.
14:48 Martha: (unintelligible)
14:51 Dr. Khalifa: They ruled that they are all fake except for the first two.
14:55 I forgot the names. If you read the book, Jesus, Lisa wrote, it gives a report on all of these.
15:03 Dr. Khalifa: Have you read that book?
15:04 Martha: (unintelligible)
15:07 Dr. Khalifa: We have an office copy, you can get there. We'll put you in there and lock you in and have you read it.
15:13 Dr. Khalifa: (unintelligible)
15:14 Are there any questions on these?
15:18 They're not to be, by the way, this Sura, this is the only Sura in the Quran,
15:24 this is a certain piece of information on the side from the computer facts,
15:31 this is the only Sura in the Quran where the name of God is in every verse.
15:35 At least once.
15:38 This Sura here,
15:40 the only one in the whole Quran where every verse has the name of the word "Allah", at least once.
15:45 Dr. Khalifa: Some of the verses have 4 of them.
15:47 A man: Is that what (unintelligible)
15:50 Dr. Khalifa: Say it again.
15:50 A man: 57 "God." 57 times.
15:54 Dr. Khalifa: Really? Oh, my goodness. A man: divisible.
15:58 Dr. Khalifa: Here's another piece of information.
16:03 So, these are the...
16:07 I mean, it's a blessing, yes.
16:08 See, what is happening
16:10 when there's a messenger, God is sending information to the whole group through the messenger.
16:16 And the messenger himself is benefiting from this information, so it will save us a lot of trouble if we, if we obey.
16:25 This includes the messenger and the people because this information is coming to everybody.
16:31 They actually, like, I see this in my last trip to Canada, for example.
16:42 I, I mentioned the issue of the age of 40.
16:46 And I assumed that everybody accepted it.
16:49 But they didn't. And I ended up wasting so much time on it.
16:53 And it's a blessing if the people have the understanding of, for example, this verse.
17:00 They'll be so comfortable if they have the conviction and understanding.
17:03 They will not waste so much time arguing back and forth.
17:08 "Why 40?"
17:09 "How can a person who's 35 go to Heaven who didn't do this and that?"
17:15 It's a piece of information that God sent to us and gave us the proofs and the evidence and the, a number from the Quran.
17:22 So, a person who has, who's blessed
17:24 God says, it's a blessing because it saves us a lot of time.
17:28 It's finished. It's closed.
17:29 When we say "God said, up to 40, everybody goes to Heaven.
17:35 "And here's the number in the Quran, and here are the proofs. Here are the signs." Then, then, we're convinced.
17:40 So, it's a blessing.
17:45 So, I appreciate the fact that this verse deals specifically with the disobedience to the messenger.
17:53 It's obedience in matters that have to do with God and information that's coming from God.
18:00 Note that it's not personal obedience.
18:04 It's obedience to God. It is the information that's coming from God.
18:10 And we have, in history, the history tells us they were having a battle or something and the prophet Muhammad said "let us camp here"
18:19 and they went to him and they said "is this message from you or from God? If it's God, we'll do that."
18:24 He said "no, it's from me." They said "this is a stupid idea."
18:27 (unintelligible) out of here.
18:30 So, once he said "it's from me", Ok, they were free to not, not, not obey.
18:36 So, the obedience is really to God.
18:39 This is actually written in history.
18:41 Then, we'll be all dead if we obey you.
18:44 Dr. Khalifa: And they did move on to some other place.
18:46 A woman: (unintelligible)
19:19 Dr. Khalifa: Ok. I agree with that.
19:21 A woman: (unintelligible)
19:24 Dr. Khalifa: Okay, we'll, we'll,
19:26 just we do have time for asking general questions.
19:30 "General questions."
19:35 (unintelligible)
19:38 Dr. Khalifa: Yes.
19:39 Mahmood Abib: Over here.
19:39 Dr. Khalifa: Oh, yes, oh my God.
19:42 Dr. Khalifa: Now, listen to this. Are you gonna get a (unintelligible). Yes. Thank you
19:45 Dr. Khalifa: for reminding me. A man: Yeah, (unintelligible)
19:47 Dr. Khalifa: The word, they said that Saleh, yeah, this is, it came out of their, their group and... The old timers will remember this.
19:55 They said... now Saleh, he said,
19:57 [91:13] ... "This is God's camel; ...
19:59 Let it be, have its own drink in some places.
20:04 And then, they slaughtered the camel.
20:06 So, the word, people under-aged, excuse us, but they said that they had sex with the camel.
20:12 Dr. Khalifa: (unintelligible)
20:14 A man: What?!
20:15 A woman: (unintelligible)
20:19 Mahmood Abib: (unintelligible) you're right.
20:22 Dr. Khalifa: Isn't this what they said? Where do you get that?
20:26 I said it didn't say, the word, they said "the word did not mean..."
20:30 They wanted a specific word, it means "slaughtering."
20:33 And actually, the word that's specific enough (unintelligible).
20:39 So, this is one of the examples of the conspiracies from the devil.
20:44 And they actually came back and they argued with me. They said "why did you translate this 'they slaughtered the camel?'"
20:52 So, we really are living the Quran.
20:54 Dr. Khalifa: Conspiracy is from the devil. Obviously, the devil gave them that idea.
20:59 Atif: Also, the people were reading from the... They were translating from the Quran in Arabic to English. They were not using this.
21:10 Dr. Khalifa: I think they used both, Arabic and English or they had some other translations.
21:14 Atif: And they were using it all together.
21:16 Dr. Khalifa: Yes. They have, actually even got their proof from that idea.
21:23 A man: (Unintelligible)
21:24 Dr. Khalifa: Martha, you know Arabic.
21:25 The word is "Aqaroo." Subsequently, they slaughtered the camel, rebelled against their Lord's command, and said, "O Sãleh, bring the doom you threaten us with, if you are really a messenger. (عَقَرُوا۟) [7:77]
21:28 And they wanted the word Zabahu (ذبحو),
21:29 It is slaughtering the camel.
21:33 So, the word in the Quran, what they did to the camel was slaughtering.
21:39 So, they said Aqaroo (عَقَرُوا۟) means "they're having sex with the camel, not killing it."
21:45 I mean, perverts.
21:50 That's what they are.
21:52 Conspiracies of the devil.
21:53 This is what happens
21:55 if we, if we separate ourselves from the believers, the wolf gets us.
22:03 Dr. Khalifa: Ok, back to Robert.
22:04 Robert: Ok.
22:07 Robert: Especially the part that God may make room for you.
22:09 Robert: Then, I thought, I thought that was in terms of...
22:11 Dr. Khalifa: Actually, it's happening now literally (unintelligible)
22:15 Dr. Khalifa: Did you find a place to sit down?
22:16 A man: (unintelligible)
22:17 Dr. Khalifa: Did you ask somebody to move?
22:19 A man: (unintelligible)
22:20 Dr. Khalifa: Did you have to ask somebody to move?
22:22 A man: No.
22:23 Dr. Khalifa: Great!
22:24 Dr. Khalifa: Ok, then it's possible for you, if he wants, he came, he comes in and finds that there's nobody,
22:29 and there's no room, ask them to make some room,
22:32 you can take it literal or... Jack Roberts said.
22:35 Dr. Khalifa: (unintelligible)
22:36 A man: Think of it as be kind to others.
22:38 Dr. Khalifa: Exactly.
22:39 A man: Be kind to others.
22:40 Dr. Khalifa: Exactly.
22:42 Dr. Khalifa: Be considerate to others. It's a general principle.
22:45 Dr. Khalifa: That is if you are nice to the people, do onto others like,
22:48 A man: (unintelligible)
22:49 Dr. Khalifa: and God will be kind to you,
22:50 Dr. Khalifa: if you are kind to the others. A man: (unintelligible)
22:53 Dr. Khalifa: If they all come and say "(unintelligible)"
22:57 Dr. Khalifa: Just being inconsiderate.
23:02 Robert: Is this why they did it?
23:03 Dr. Khalifa: Yeah, they're allying themselves with the enemies of God.
23:06 Actually, we have some examples of these.
23:13 People who, for example, ally themselves told me that somebody that goes to the Islamic Center.
23:23 In the Islamic Center, they're flagrant idol-worshipers, they don't devote their prayers to God alone.
23:31 And you know them. They anger God when they do this.
23:34 They will not accept, La Elaha Ella Allah. You go there and tell them La Elaha Ella Allah, they call you "Kafir (کافر)."
23:46 (unintelligible)
23:48 They're criticizing me for saying that Salman Rushdie should have his freedom of expression.
23:55 And in that letter they say "we agree to admire, we applaud the Catholic Church were making a stand against Salman Rushdie."
24:07 Now, this is a Islamic Center liking that.
24:10 They're attacking me and, and applauding the Catholic Church. Ok.
24:15 Now, I say "La Elaha Ella Allah." The Catholic Church says "praise Mary, mother of God."
24:23 So, it is not an issue of worshipping God. It's, it's politics or something.
24:28 How can they applaud the Catholic Church for anything?
24:31 Because the Catholic Church itself practiced the same thing that Khomeini practices.
24:35 They don't like people to write about their "Shroud of Turin" and all the nonsense that they have.
24:42 They have heavy censorship.
24:45 They, they excommunicate people right and left because of their opinions.
24:50 Dr. Khalifa: So, they are birds with
24:54 Lydia: feather.
24:55 Dr. Khalifa: birds with feather. (unintelligible)
24:57 Lydia: (unintelligible)
24:58 Dr. Khalifa: Right. And the Catholics...
25:00 Lydia: Exactly the same thing (unintelligible) in right ear and goes right out the other.
25:04 Lydia: So, you can just see how (unintelligible).
25:08 Dr. Khalifa: So, (unintelligible) you can see how, how will God look at people with this, applauding people who are saying
25:17 "praise Mary, mother of God."
25:19 (unintelligible) expression, "Mary, mother of God."
25:24 And condemning somebody who says "La Elaha Ella Allah" and worships God alone.
25:30 So, anybody who allies himself with those people, God is angry with them.
25:35 I mean, this is verse 15.
25:38 [58:15] GOD has prepared for them a severe retribution. Miserable indeed is what they used to do.
25:41 Robert: (unintelligible) there are those who ally themselves with people who have angered God.
25:47 Dr. Khalifa: Uhum
25:48 Robert: Ok.
25:48 A woman: (unintelligible)
25:53 Dr. Khalifa: We seek refuge in God from Satan.
25:57 Bism Allah Arrahman Arraheem.
25:59 In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
26:02 Tonight, we're starting at Sura 54.
26:07 55, excuse me.
26:09 And our teacher tonight will be Lori, right?
26:12 But before we start, I want to make some corrections.
26:16 In my Khutba today, I make some boo-boos sometimes.
26:20 Sometimes I say things that are not, appear to be not very tactful.
26:25 For example, we have, here, a great team of cake bringers or cake makers and when I asked, and Rahima was
26:33 Rahima's turn, Lori's turn, I said the best.
26:37 So, this, they're all, they're all great makers of cake, bringers of cake.
26:42 Dr. Khalifa: And this appears not to be tactful, but I had to explain to you that each believer is the best.
26:49 So, when I, when I say "the best", I'm referring to every single one of them.
26:55 Because they're all, I hope I don't make it worse.
27:00 No, honest, I...
27:02 Because you people are so special that every one of you is the best.
27:06 And when I say that, I, I just want to pay you the highest possible compliment without infringing on the other's properties,
27:18 Dr. Khalifa: that they are the best, each one of them.
27:22 A woman: (unintelligible)
27:26 Dr. Khalifa: Every single...
27:28 A woman: (unintelligible)
27:30 You don't describe your cake as the best when you brought it in?
27:36 Now, how do I get out of this one? Help!
27:41 Dr. Khalifa: I think I get out by saying "okay, take it over, Lori."
27:49 Lori: It was really a test for me, because I just wanted to know.
27:52 And I never understood the jinns. It's just like,
27:55 you know, I read it, and I needed to think, to think, and I knew because it was in the Quran, I had to believe it.
28:01 But I didn't know what they were, and nobody could explain it to me.
28:06 You know, and I got really wild explanations of what the jinns were.
28:11 And it always troubled me, then I just forced myself to submit.
28:16 And in the second chapter of the Quran where it says that
28:21 the believers are those who believe in the unseen, and this is part of the unseen.
28:26 And I knew that, IN SHAA ALLAH, at the time, that God would explain it to me.
28:32 And one of the blessings of being in this mosque is having things explained to us.
28:37 And as Rashad said in the Khutba today "it's the mercy from God that He sends a messenger from among us to explain to us."
28:45 The knowledge is here in the Quran, and all of us have read the Quran.
28:49 You know, I read it once a month from front to back, and every time there's something new.
28:55 And we get what we need at the time we need it.
29:00 And we, in this mosque, are just developing so far. It's just amazing.
29:04 You know, Rashad and Lisa and Hasan went to Canada, and there were the people believed the way we do,
29:10 they're still way behind us in the knowledge, because we're here every Friday night, learning and studying.
29:16 We have the input of all these believers here
29:19 and learning and studying. We have the input of all these believers here.
29:24 And we have a messenger that is given the knowledge that is passed on to us.
29:29 Lori: And we're responsible for the information in this mosque.
29:32 Dr. Khalifa: This Sura was directed to the humans and the jinns.
29:35 Well, there were two kinds of creatures,
29:39 creatures that sided with Satan completely, the jinns,
29:44 and the creatures that did not, were, were neutral, didn't make a stand with God. That's you and me.
29:51 (unintelligible) God decided to give us the body of clay, originally of the same material as the earth.
29:59 We are earth now.
30:01 But the jinns have a body of fire, fire. It's the difference.
30:06 We are in dimensions and they are in different dimensions.
30:10 Because the agreement called for Satan to remain invisible, just like God is invisible.
30:15 Satan wanted to whisper to us while being invisible.
30:21 Therefore, they had to be made of a different material in a different dimension.
30:26 Also, the jinns, they're made from energy. It gives them the abilities to travel
30:35 a lot faster than the speed of light, millions of times the speed of light.
30:38 They can go to the outer limit of our universe, 26 billion light years.
30:44 So, this gives them more, more to see, more evidence.
30:49 Therefore, God is giving them more evidence because they are, they made a hard stand against God.
30:55 So, when they go to Hell in the Hereafter, it seems like this whole, this whole life is really to nullify the excuses
31:06 of the humans and the jinns, the creatures who did not make a firm stand on God's absolute authority.
31:15 In other words, had God listened to the angels initially and said, okay, all those who didn't make a stand
31:22 on My absolute authority are banished, are out. Go to Hell,
31:27 they would have said "oh, you didn't give us another chance. We didn't know how bad Hell is. You didn't give us warnings."
31:34 So, this life is designed so that when the people insist, that the jinns insist on going to Hell, they will not be able to say that.
31:43 They will not be able to say "you didn't give us a chance. You didn't give us warnings. We didn't know what we were doing.
31:51 "If You told us how bad it is here in Hell, we would have made a different..."
31:55 See, God told us everything, the humans and the jinns.
31:58 He told us how bad Hell is, how to get out of it, how to redeem ourselves, how to make it back to God's kingdom.
32:06 So, the jinns, because they have this strong stand, they are given a chance to see more of the universe,
32:14 and to convince them to redeem themselves.
32:19 We were wishy-washy and this is the extent that we need to make that decision and to redeem ourselves.
32:26 Dr. Khalifa: We have these different bodies.
32:30 A woman: Can they read the scripture, too?
32:32 Dr. Khalifa: This is it.
32:33 A woman: They can read the same thing?
32:34 Dr. Khalifa: Of course.
32:35 A woman: Oh.
32:37 Dr. Khalifa: We have, did we see, there was, there was one show on the Today's show before the elections.
32:43 (unintelligible).
32:47 And they had this magician, a fellow who uses jinns, I'm sure.
32:52 And before the elections, two weeks before the elections, on the show,
32:56 they decided to put, he said "I'm going to put in this envelope who's going to win the elections and how many votes."
33:06 And he sealed the, the envelope. That was two weeks before the elections.
33:10 And he said "on the election day, the next day, they will open the envelope and they will see
33:16 "that he wrote down two weeks back, two weeks ago, who won the elections and how many votes."
33:23 Now, how will he do that?
33:25 Can you guess?
33:26 Dr. Khalifa: What did they do?
33:28 A woman: They (unintelligible) they, they (unintelligible) Dr. Khalifa: No.
33:32 A woman: So, what did they do?
33:33 Dr. Khalifa: Ok. They, they don't know the future. The jinns don't know the future. They're just like us.
33:38 But what they did, they waited until the newspaper came out and they said
33:41 "Reagan won and here are the number of votes." Then, they go in the envelope and they write.
33:46 Dr. Khalifa: That's right. That's how they do it.
33:49 A woman: What were (unintelligible)
33:50 Dr. Khalifa: Because this is the number of votes.
33:51 A woman: You know that
33:52 A woman: at the end of the day... Dr. Khalifa: So, what I'm saying, what I'm saying is they go into closed, while it's closed and read it.
33:56 A woman: But tell me this now
33:58 Dr. Khalifa: They have x-ray vision A woman: (unintelligible) on the news,
34:00 A woman: on the news, they showed pictures of Mars and this is why they said that the Russians (unintelligible)
34:05 that they found two faces on Mars and they thought it was a shadow.
34:10 A woman: So, they did a close-up and then they did a computer enhancement and saw teeth,
34:16 A woman: their eyes and then a teeth, they understood. Dr. Khalifa: No.
34:18 Dr. Khalifa: No. A woman: But I'm saying,
34:19 A woman: I'm thinking about this then Dr. Khalifa: Somebody made that up.
34:21 A woman: Now, wait a minute. First thing I thought about, Rashad, (unintelligible)
34:24 A woman: Rashad would say, the jinns went there because they can leave (unintelligible). Dr. Khalifa: (unintelligible)
34:29 A woman: Right. And they can go up there and plant these things for us to see. And they prove to us (unintelligible).
34:34 Dr. Khalifa: No.
34:35 A woman: And while we're busy worrying about this little thing on Mars, they sneak up, you know what I'm saying?
34:41 Dr. Khalifa: They have (unintelligible). They cannot do anything without God's will.
34:46 So, if God wants us to be fooled in that way, He will allow it.
34:50 But they cannot slap you in the face, for example.
34:53 They're sitting there and (unintelligible). First of all, each one of us has one.
34:58 Those are not free yet.
35:01 And then, there are the ones that have been freed of the dead people, our grandparents.
35:06 They come here regularly and listen to Quranic studies.
35:09 It is recorded in the (unintelligible).
35:11 There's a person that says "some jinns heard the Quran and went to their families and friends and told them "we heard a wonderful Quran.""
35:24 So, this is one. We have this kind of body and the jinns that kind of body.
35:30 (unintelligible).
35:34 This says "use me, O Lord, in Thy work."
35:38 And in parentheses, especially, in an advisory capacity.
35:46 Okay, anything else? There was something here about death.
35:51 I want you to think of death as getting rid of this lousy body
35:56 and getting a new body that does not get sick or die.
36:01 That's what death is, smooth from stage to stage.
36:05 And usually it happens when you're sick and tired of this one.
36:09 And you want a new one.
36:28 Dr. Khalifa: (unintelligible). You see, the balance in number seven can be understood by different generations, but now we understand the environmental balance, for example.
36:39 Why do we have so many rabbits? What do they reproduce so much?
36:42 The wilderness.
36:45 You see, the foxes need food.
36:47 There's an environmental balance. Foxes.... The coyotes did not need the rabbits to be invaded.
36:54 There are hundreds of rabbits right here.
36:57 So, I mean, this is a type of balance, well known.
37:02 It was studied in school.
37:04 (unintelligible) that there was some biological balance in the world.
37:09 But this balance covers everything.
37:16 And worrying has to do with cheating.
37:19 It's a very important commandment. So,
37:21 Prophet Shu‘aib was sent just for that particular commandment, not to cheat in trading.
37:29 When we break this commandment, it costs us a lot.
37:35 You cheat in paying your rent, collecting your rent, doing your work, or whatever, it will cost you a lot, more than you cheat.
37:50 So, this is God's commandment. It's one of the very important commandments.
37:54 I believe what is an ideal person in honesty and truthfulness.
38:08 Okay, if there are no questions, we'll go to 37.
38:13 A woman: What would that mean?
38:16 Dr. Khalifa: The sky is blue now, right? A woman: Right.
38:18 Dr. Khalifa: So, the Hereafter will be pink,
38:20 will be rosy. It will be almost like Cherie's blouse, a little lighter.
38:27 With a beautiful sky at the sunset or the sunrise.
38:30 So, they studied (unintelligible).
38:35 Psychologists, psychiatrists said that the most peaceful color is this, this color
38:40 In fact, they suggested that people who are tense to get a piece of this color (unintelligible) for a couple of minutes.
38:48 The sky will be like that on the Day of Judgement.
38:56 By the way, Laurie mentioned substitution of the earth with a new earth, the heavens with the new heavens
39:04 And we see this in the Old Testament and the New Testament as well.
39:08 Most of the prophecies, in the Old Testament, are in the book of Isaiah.
39:12 And if you want to put this (unintelligible) and put down Isaiah 65:22, it talks about substitution of a new heaven, a new earth.
39:22 65:22 Isaiah. Also, in 66:7.
39:29 66:7
39:31 That's the very end of the book of Isaiah.
39:34 And also in the New Testament, you find it in the second book of Peter 3:13.
39:40 3, the verse number is 13.
39:44 Both of them talk about substitution of a new heaven, new earth.
39:49 The Quran and the Old Testament.
39:51 The Old Testament and the New Testament and the Final Testament are identical in that respect.
39:58 This is, this is one fact that God wants you to know.
40:01 On the Day of Judgement, the color of the sky is going to be rosy.
40:16 Is this something about Mars?
40:23 I remember one of the cameras that went to Mars (unintelligible).
40:33 You know, the reason our sky is blue is the diffraction of the light.
40:38 You know, (unintelligible).
40:42 And the blue happens to hit the atmosphere of the earth at such an angle that it gets deflected.
40:48 (unintelligible)
40:50 So, this is God's design.
40:53 So, it's blue. Now if the...
40:55 If the sunlight becomes a little, changes just the angle hitting the atmosphere, some other color will be deflected.
41:03 Dr. Khalifa: It's a very simple matter.
41:06 A man: The reason we see the sunset as being pinkish or red is because of the sun (unintelligible)....
41:17 A man: .... that it's the reflection of the sun (unintelligible). Dr. Khalifa: Right.
41:22 A man: And say, you know, (unintelligible)
41:27 Dr. Khalifa: Also, the deflection is different, at sunrise and sunset.
41:31 I'm glad you brought this up.
41:35 There's a deflection and reflection and diffraction.
41:42 When you go fishing and you put a stick in the water, you see the stick go like this.
41:49 It's a great stick, but you can see it's called...
41:54 I forget now (unintelligible), reflection, diffraction and all those terms.
42:00 But the sunlight hits the earth atmosphere and this happens to it.
42:04 It depends on which angle, which light (unintelligible) This is what changes the colors.
42:11 So anyway, one of the things that God wants us to know is that the sky is rosy.
42:17 It's very pleasant only to the believers, pleasant to the believers.
42:26 Laurie: In verse 39, we're told that on the Day of Resurrection that neither jinns nor humans will be asked about their sins because it won't be necessary.
42:37 We know from other verses in the Quran that everything that we've done in our lifetime has been reported
42:43 by reporters that are honest and never miss anything at all.
42:48 And it's recorded and we know now with the development of the videotape that that's what it's going to be like.
42:56 We can see everything exactly as it was as it took place.
43:00 Everything we said, all the thoughts that we had, everything we did will be recorded.
43:05 And for those of us who are fortunate enough to have developed our souls to the extent
43:10 that we're worthy of having our sins remitted, we'll have the power to edit our tapes, which will be so nice.
43:17 And everybody else won't.
43:20 And we've been told in many verses in the Quran that we don't have to even...
43:24 We won't even be asked about our sins because everything will testify to them, our skin, you know, everything will...
43:31 We've been reporting everything that we've done all this time.
43:34 A man: (unintelligible)
43:41 Dr. Khalifa: I don't know if he knows that. (unintelligible).
43:47 See verse 40 says, well, 39...
43:55 Verse (unintelligible)
43:57 "We won't be asked..." Oh, 39, yeah.
44:00 [55:39] Humans or the jinns will not be asked for their sins.
44:04 Nobody will need to ask anybody about anything because the believers develop their souls
44:11 and the disbelievers fail to develop their souls.
44:14 And in Sura 17, we're told that the differences in the Hereafter, I mean...
44:19 In this room, the differences in our sizes are within a few inches.
44:24 But in the Hereafter, the differences will be like the difference between a mouse and the city of New York, city of Tucson, let's say.
44:32 So, when you see somebody the size of the city of Tucson, he or she has developed the soul sufficiently.
44:39 This is why they will be able to come closer to God.
44:42 When you see somebody the size of a mouse, you don't need to ask, you know "what did you do wrong?"
44:48 You know, that is...
44:49 This is why nobody will need to ask anybody for their sins.
44:54 It is so obvious.
44:57 There'll be no question.
44:58 Also in Sura 17, we're told that everybody will be the judge for him or herself for the sins.
45:04 Because in that dimension, we will see what we really look like, how much we really develop, and how much we lack development.
45:15 So, 41,
45:17 [55:41] The guilty will be recognized by their looks;...
45:20 They'll be undeveloped. They'll be shrunken.
45:24 It's like being born without arms and legs, deformed.
45:28 They will be born into the Hereafter deformed, undeveloped, aborted.
45:36 But they'll be alive. They will (unintelligible).
45:39 Very alive, Not well.
45:46 Also, God lets us understand, as Laurie explained about 44, how they will try to sneak into Heaven and they'll find it worse than Hell.
45:57 They will sneak into the Lower Heaven.
46:00 They'll find it worse than Hell, because they do not stand to come any closer to God.
46:08 See, God takes it completely up to us, completely.
46:11 This is why God does not inflict an atom's weight of injustice.
46:15 It's absolutely up to you. You can be as close to God as you want
46:20 in the High Heaven, or you can be as far from God as you want.
46:25 It's completely up to us.
46:27 So, the conclusion is that God does not put a single person in Hell.
46:32 It is the people who insist or choose, and they insist on going to Hell.
46:38 The whole thing will be automatic in the Hereafter.
46:42 This is why it is important to do, for example, the five Prayers a day.
46:48 You don't do the five Prayers every day, you are in trouble.
46:51 That's the minimum that you can do.
46:54 Because those are the meals for the real person.
47:00 Just imagine if you don't feed... your body is dry and you don't feed it and run for two months.
47:05 What will your body look like?
47:08 There is no death in the Hereafter.
47:11 Just imagine not eating for two months.
47:15 And the people out there in the street, they don't feed their soul for years and years and years.
47:22 Can you imagine what they look like? Can you imagine what they look like?
47:25 Just bring it to our dimension here and think of bodies that didn't eat for years.
47:32 You see those skeletal pictures of the starving people in Central Africa, Ethiopia, Sudan?
47:39 What do they look like? You can see their ribs, the shank, the skin and bones.
47:47 And this happens to the soul. The soul is not fed.
47:50 The five meals every day.
47:54 [55:41] The guilty will be recognized by their looks;....
48:02 You can tell who is starving in Africa and who is not by looking at them.
48:08 In the Hereafter, you'll be able to know who is starving and who is not.
48:14 Except it will be by choice.
48:18 Dr. Khalifa: So, now I'll go back to Laurie and number 46, the Higher Heaven. Laurie: Yes.
48:24 Laurie: [55:46] For those who reverence the glory of their Lord, there will be two Paradises.
48:29 [55:47] Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
48:31 [55:48] With abundant vegetation.
48:33 [55:49] Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
48:36 [55:50] Two springs run freely therein.
48:39 [55:51] Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
48:41 [55:52] They will have two kinds of every fruit.
48:43 [55:53] Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
48:46 [55:54] They will relax on furnishings lined with silk, while the fruits of the two gardens are brought near.
48:51 [55:55] Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
48:54 [55:56] They will have magnificent spouses therein, never before touched by any human or jinn.
49:00 [55:57] Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
49:02 [55:58] They will look like gems and coral.
49:05 [55:59] Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
49:08 [55:60] Is the reward of righteousness anything but the best blessing?
49:11 [55:61] Which of your Lord's marvels can you deny?
49:18 A woman: Action.
49:20 Dr. Khalifa: Verse 13, I have some very good news for you.
49:26 I'm not flattering you. You are very, very special people.
49:30 You've got to go to the Highest, Highest, Highest Heaven. I'm gonna explain to you why.
49:36 When Abraham started the religion of Islam, according to God's instructions, he and the people around him were worshipping God alone.
49:48 And as time went by, Satan sneakily and gradually added idol worship until the time of Muhammad came.
49:58 Some centuries later, by the time Muhammad came, they were worshipping lots of idols,
50:06 Allaat, Manaat, Al-‘Uzzah and all that. They were in the Ka‘bah that Abraham built.
50:12 And you've read how many verses in Quran that say "Abraham was never an idol worshipper."
50:16 And yet there is the Ka‘bah that he built that was full of idols.
50:21 And then, God renewed the message, sent the Quran to Muhammad,
50:26 and sent Muhammad to tell the people "the idols are bad. Worship God alone. Worship God alone." So, what happened?
50:32 Now, Muhammad and his company were persecuted severely.
50:36 They threw on them all kinds of dirt and bones.
50:42 Then, they banished them when they grew.
50:45 There were about 10 or 15 people for about 3 years.
50:49 Then, they grew to about maybe 25 or 30 people.
50:53 Then, they thought they were getting too strong. So, they banished them out of Mecca, boycotted them.
50:59 Now, and those people were abused.
51:03 So, those have to have a special place in Heaven.
51:08 They went against the current.
51:09 They were worshipping God alone in an ocean of idolatry.
51:14 You can easily see that they are very special people.
51:18 They will be in the highest place in the High Heaven.
51:21 Because even within the High Heaven and the Low Heaven, there'll be ranks.
51:26 Ok, now, 20 years ago, you see how it says here "few from the later generations," the later generations after Muhammad.
51:37 1400 years after Muhammad, there is not a single mosque in the Muslim world that was worshipping God alone.
51:44 That is upholding the commandment "the mosque belongs to God. You shall not mention other names with God."
51:54 And then God renewed the message, right now.
51:59 And the message went loud and clear, ringing throughout the whole world "worship God alone. Say "La Elaha Ella Allah"",
52:05 not "La Elaha Ella Allah Muhammad Rasulallah."
52:08 And "devote yourself to God alone. Uphold the commandments of the Quran. Purify your worship. Your Prayer is wrong,
52:15 Your fasting is wrong. Your Zakat is wrong."
52:19 These are, these are all blessings from God that He sent to our generation.
52:24 And again, we are subject to the same persecution, the same ridicule, lucky us.
52:35 Yours truly cannot go into any country in the Middle East. I'll be shot within 24 hours.
52:41 Just stabilize it.
52:43 And if you go to the Middle East, you better disown me. I'm asking you to do that.
52:47 I mean, God says, even disown God, if you are under those circumstances, as long as your heart is filled with faith.
52:55 If you don't wanna get into trouble, you better tell them "I don't know Rashad Khalifa" on purpose.
52:59 But this is... you are very, very special people.
53:05 You've gone through the mill of ridicule and mocking.
53:11 Today, Tasneem calls you from New York, and she was talking to some relatives of her in Chicago, who are very active in the so-called Islamic Center.
53:19 And she told them "I'm devoting myself to God alone. I only say "La Elaha Ella Allah."
53:25 And guess what they said?
53:26 They said "Tasneem went to the dogs."
53:30 She's worshiping God alone.
53:32 I mean, this is ridicule, right? They ridiculed her.
53:36 You know, you're saying "La Elaha Ella Allah." You're saying "worship God alone."
53:40 "You mean, God alone. That's all you have, God?"
53:43 I mean, do you see the logic? They're ridiculing her.
53:47 Mahmood was working the other night, and some so-called Muslims walked in the store.
53:53 And they saw the label, it says "Muhammad" on Mahmood, on the label.
53:57 They said "are you a Muslim?"
53:58 He said "yes."
53:59 They said "how come we don't see you at the mosque?"
54:02 He said "how come I don't see you at the mosque?"
54:08 So, they said "oh, you mean, you go to that mosque?"
54:12 Because the mosque that worships God alone, right?
54:15 Now, Noah, if you remember in the Quran, Noah said, cause Noah was building the ark, with the
54:21 flat, float, whatever you call it, water raft.
54:28 And they were laughing at him.
54:29 And he told them, he said "you're laughing at me, but I'm really laughing at you."
54:32 And that's what Mahmood was actually doing in the store.
54:35 Because they said "oh, we never believed in mathematics.
54:39 A woman: Oh, God.
54:42 Now, on that day, they probably had an exam in calculus, right? In university.
54:48 And they had to follow the formulas and the equations, and otherwise they would flunk.
54:55 So, they believe in mathematics.
54:57 But if it comes to God and the Quran, and worshiping God alone, they don't believe in mathematics.
55:02 So, they were looking at Mahmood, you know, ridiculing him, and of course, in his heart, he knows "fool souls."
55:08 Just like Noah, he was ridiculing them.
55:12 Just like, I mean, he was laughing at them, just like they were laughing at him.
55:15 But this makes Mahmood a very special person.
55:19 This is what it means, "multitudes from the early generations."
55:24 We are the first generation of renewing the message.
55:28 And we see it very clearly. Every one of us is in the light, and we can see it.
55:35 Just go in any mosque in the world and say "La Elaha Ella Allah," they will beat you up.
55:41 You are saying "worship God alone."
55:45 So, you can see what happens after centuries, from the first generation.
55:51 Abraham was a first generation.
55:54 And those people, I mean, they threw Abraham in the fire, right?
56:00 In those days, there was no America for Abraham to run to.
56:05 They threw him in the fire, so what did God do?
56:08 He turned the fire into a cool and safe place.
56:12 Because God, God says "do not think that I will abandon my messengers.
56:17 God creates exits for them.
56:20 So, the exit for Abraham was a cool and safe fire.
56:23 And the people who were with him, they were persecuted.
56:27 They had to be special people, because the easiest thing is to go along with the masses, with the crowds.
56:34 You think this shook Mahmood?
56:37 Not one hair.
56:39 And this is why he is very special.
56:40 I'm just using Mahmood as an example.
56:42 Muhtesem went to a grocery store to buy some Middle Eastern stuff.
56:47 And he met some Arabs there.
56:52 They're just totally ignorant. They know nothing.
56:55 But he says "yes, we saw too much in Tucson. We worship God alone."
57:00 And they almost beat him up.
57:02 If he wasn't big enough and strong enough.
57:06 And a Turk.
57:08 He would have been beaten.
57:10 So, why do you have to take all this abuse?
57:13 And all this ridicule. Do you think it shook him up? Did it affect his faith?
57:18 If anything, it strengthened his faith.
57:20 Because he knows that those people are off.
57:22 He knows they're ignorant.
57:24 He knows they're not worshipping God alone.
57:26 He knows they lost the Prayer. They probably never prayed.
57:29 These people, do you think they prayed?
57:32 Muhtesem: (unintelligible) Dr. Khalifa: Right. Right. They don't know?
57:38 Dr. Khalifa: They don't know? Muhtesem: (unintelligible)
57:52 Dr. Khalifa: And they don't know how many Suras are in the Quran. Muhtesem: (unintelligible)
57:55 Muhtesem: (unintelligible) Dr. Khalifa: All of them. They're missing this.
57:58 Dr. Khalifa: The Bashar couple. The Bashar's, they ridiculed them so many times.
58:05 "Do you really go to that mosque?"
58:09 And the answer is "show me a place where they worship God alone that I go."
58:14 "We go to that place."
58:16 I will go to that place.
58:17 Any place where they worship God alone, we'll go.
58:20 God is the One (unintelligible). God is the One who created you. God is the one who provides for you.
58:26 God is the One who controls your health, your welfare.
58:31 God is the One who controls your happiness.
58:33 God is the only One who controls your success.
58:37 Muhammad is dead. The saints are dead. Jesus is dead.
58:41 Powerless. Even when they were alive. They had absolutely no power.
58:49 So, (unintelligible).
58:53 Because you are going through. This is the first generation. We are,
58:57 We are so lucky.
58:58 We are a first generation, just like Abraham's generation, Muhammad's generation.
59:05 Muhammad's generation are ones who went through the ridicule, the abuse. And they had to leave their city, Mecca and go to Medina.
59:12 The persecution they went through. Because of this, God reserves a special place for them.
59:18 God is reserving a special place for us. I'm saying it by God's grace.
59:23 So, I have this very good news for you.
59:27 What you are, you fit here in verse 13. Multitude from the early generations.
59:32 In 50 years, I assure you, in 50 years, there'll be millions of people worshipping God alone, upholding the Quran alone and praying the correct way.
59:40 Millions. In just 50 years.
59:44 But they will be following the crowd.
59:46 They cannot be like you.
59:49 They will be protected by their numbers.
59:53 Right at this location, right here, there'll be thousands on this block, in this mosque.
59:59 And there'll be powerful, the people jumping on the wagons.
1:00:03 But they don't deserve the same position or the same credit as you.
1:00:12 So, this is what it means. "Multitude from the early generations, but only a few from the last generations."
1:00:19 Because these are the far ahead, in Arabic, Then there is the elite of the elite. (ٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ) [56:10]
1:00:23 These will be the closest to God. They are very special.
1:00:27 And that is you.
1:00:29 And you start collecting benefits now.
1:00:34 And we've seen it. We have a history already. We have a track record in this mosque for 10 years.
1:00:39 We have a track record, a perfect track record.
1:00:43 In this life.
1:00:46 It's guaranteed by God.
1:00:49 You may have a pinch here and there, but it's because we make mistakes.
1:00:54 The tests are brief for you. But if you stray off the path, you know you're gonna get the pinch.
1:01:01 And you get the pinch and say "thank You, God", and come back to the path.
1:01:06 You are very special people.
1:01:10 You deserve a lot of congratulations.
1:01:14 God says in Sura 35 that the angels have wings, two, three, and four.
1:01:20 Two, three, and four, because the angels closest to God will be the most powerful, the highest in rank.
1:01:29 You'll have more wings. This is figuratively speaking.
1:01:34 And these Then there is the elite of the elite. (ٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ) [56:10]
1:01:36 these far ahead people.
1:01:38 Like (unintelligible), you'll be there.
1:01:41 I mean, all those are angels, but still, they have ranks.
1:01:46 And 50 years from now, the thousands of people will be in this location, IN SHAA ALLAH. They will go to the High Heaven because they worship God alone
1:01:54 and they will pray the correct way. And they'll go to the High Heaven, but they cannot attain your rank, because you're the ones who are taking the abuse.
1:02:02 The people who take the abuse and the ridicule have a very special position in the Bible and in the Quran.
1:02:09 I had a little thing that I hang in there for a while that says "congratulations to those who are persecuted."
1:02:15 Well, the prophets also have been persecuted, remember that verse?
1:02:18 I had it hanging here.
1:02:21 And this is God telling you "congratulations."
1:02:24 (unintelligible)
1:02:27 So, we are very, very lucky. And I'm stressing, I keep stressing this, because I cannot stress it enough.
1:02:36 Just so we can thank God and be appreciative, so you know who you are.
1:02:42 Satan will always put doubts in your mind.
1:02:44 Always will tell you "you're nobody."
1:02:47 He hates your guts, okay?
1:02:51 Because it's going to be deep, deep in Hell.
1:02:54 You hear that, Iman?
1:02:55 You're asking about Satan and the Hereafter?
1:02:57 He will not be in Heaven, no.
1:02:59 He will not even come close.
1:03:02 He and his troops will be way deep down in the lowest pit of Hell.
1:03:08 And he'll be beating them and they'll be beating him.
1:03:12 They're gonna spend eternity doing that.
1:03:16 So, he will try to tell you "you're a nobody", but you speak back to him.
1:03:21 You tell him "I believe God."
1:03:24 And I believe that I am in this group, multitudes in the early generations.
1:03:27 Because this is a first generation.
1:03:32 I mean, I couldn't believe it myself.
1:03:35 For a long time just "it couldn't be just us here worshipping God alone. There must be millions in the world."
1:03:41 But I discovered that I'm naive, that the human being is really bad.
1:03:46 I was talking to my nephew, Sharif, in Egypt.
1:03:50 He said "I'm the only one in Egypt."
1:03:53 He really is a believer.
1:03:55 You can tell the people who believe, because they are in the light. They understand.
1:04:02 And he's the only one that I know in Egypt, (unintelligible).
1:04:05 He said "really, I believe."
1:04:08 IN SHAA ALLAH, he will come for the conference.
1:04:12 He's only 20.
1:04:16 He was born two weeks before Beth.
1:04:21 And he's the only believer in all of Egypt.
1:04:25 I mean, I was really naive.
1:04:27 I mean, I said "there must be millions in Egypt to worship God alone."
1:04:30 Nope.
1:04:32 Wrong.
1:04:33 So, this is why I'm speaking so strongly.
1:04:35 And I'm telling you "you're very special." And when Satan tells you "you're not", you tell him to shut up.
1:04:43 You're very special
1:04:45 This is the verse that talks about you.
1:04:49 Congratulations.
1:04:51 Dr. Khalifa: Yes. Dr. Sabahi: (unintelligible).
1:04:55 Dr. Khalifa: At this time
1:04:56 Dr. Khalifa: At this time, right now.
1:04:58 Dr. Khalifa: refers Muhammad's time, Ibrahim's time, and this time, our time. We are a first generation.
1:05:05 Right now.
1:05:06 Because we are the fortunate generation that is renewing God's message, restoring it, cleaning out all the junk and innovations.
1:05:16 When you go back to Iran you'll be, which town will you be in? Tehran?
1:05:25 I think you'll be the only one in Tehran who's praying the correct way, you and (unintelligible), the kids.
1:05:32 You'll be the one, and they'll laugh at you.
1:05:34 When you tell them, and they "Sharooz" "I just say the name of God alone."
1:05:38 "So, you mean, you don't mention Muhammad, or Ahlul Beyt or Ali?"
1:05:43 See, this is what we cleaned out.
1:05:46 We cleaned out all the creatures.
1:05:47 (unintelligible)
1:05:49 And this is restoring the religion. You are a first generation.
1:05:54 Dr. Khalifa: Does this make you special or not? When you're the only one in Tehran who's praying the correct way.
1:05:59 Lisa: How beautiful the Highest Heaven is.
1:06:01 We know, of course, that these are all allegorical descriptions that God uses allegory because there is no way
1:06:07 that we in our present state can even begin to understand really what is in store for us.
1:06:14 But we know from the allegory of the Highest Heaven that it is truly bliss.
1:06:21 And that it is wonderful beyond our dreams.
1:06:24 God says that anything we wish for, anything those who are in the Highest Heaven, IN SHAA ALLAH, we'll be there,
1:06:32 Anything they wish for and even more.
1:06:35 So, God's grace is even greater than anything we can comprehend or desire, wish for.
1:06:45 And then those on the right, those in the Lower Heaven, for them also, it's incredibly beautiful.
1:06:55 And it's peace.
1:06:57 [56:91] Peace to you from those on the right.
1:07:01 An incredible, incredible triumph to be among those on the right.
1:07:06 [56:92]. But if he is one of the rejecters, the strayers, [56:93] then the retribution [56:94] and burning hell.
1:07:16 We know, again, that we can't comprehend really the awfulness of hell.
1:07:24 We have a slight idea because we are as far from God as anything in the universe at this point.
1:07:33 And we know how hellish this world is and how awful it is, particularly when you step out of God's kingdom.
1:07:38 We're incredibly blessed to be in God's kingdom, IN SHAA ALLAH.
1:07:43 But as soon as you step out, you know what an incredible hell that is.
1:07:48 And that is nothing compared to the ultimate hell.
1:07:56 [56:95] This is the inevitable truth.
1:07:57 [56:96] You shall glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.
1:08:04 Mã Shã Allãh
1:08:07 Are there any comments or questions on these last verses?
1:08:12 Dr. Khalifa: 88 and 89 refer to you, you special people.
1:08:19 And I say this with thanking God and God says "speak up of God's blessings on you."
1:08:24 We're very rare, fortunate, and blessed group of people.
1:08:29 And 90 refers to all the people who died before the age of 40.
1:08:37 It says, as, as...
1:08:40 [56:90] and if he belongs with those from the right -
1:08:44 Those people will be very happy.
1:08:48 Because they will go to the Lower Heaven.
1:08:51 God knew that they deserved... they do not deserve to go to hell. They deserve to go to the Lower Heaven
1:08:57 because of circumstances that only He knows.
1:09:01 That's why He took them at (unintelligible)
1:09:03 The children that came here to perform a function.
1:09:07 And they were assigned souls that God knows deserve to go to the Lower Heaven.
1:09:12 Well, they lived until the age of 39 or just before 40.
1:09:15 And then God takes them at that time.
1:09:18 Because had they lived, they would have been swept by circumstances.
1:09:27 Which brings me to a point that I will be talking about, IN SHAA ALLAH, in the Khutba two weeks from today, IN SHAA ALLAH.
1:09:37 Where very quickly, Ibrahim, God says "we granted Abraham his understanding, for we were fully aware of him."
1:09:47 Ok. This verse tells you it was not Abraham's intelligence that led him to discover God.
1:09:52 God granted him the understanding because God knew that Abraham deserved to go to the High Heaven.
1:10:01 And the other verse that I wish to share with you is Joseph. When Joseph almost fell for the governor's wife.
1:10:08 And then God said "if it were not that he saw a sign from his Lord."
1:10:12 Then, God says "we thus diverted sin from him.
1:10:15 So, was it Joseph who was so great that he didn't fall in sin? Or, was it God that protected him from sin?
1:10:21 It was God that protected him from sin.
1:10:23 By the way, the verse goes on and says,
1:10:25 She almost succumbed to him, and he almost succumbed to her, if it were not that he saw a proof from his Lord. We thus diverted evil and sin away from him, for he was one of our devoted servants. (إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ) [12:24]
1:10:27 That he was one of our devoted servants.
1:10:30 Because he was one of God's devoted servants, God diverted him, protected him from sin.
1:10:37 So, what I'm saying is that when we agreed with Satan billions of years ago,
1:10:46 some of us were swept in the crowd.
1:10:49 And God knew that.
1:10:52 This is what God meant when he said to the angels. The angels said "put them all in hell."
1:10:57 And God said "I know what you do not know."
1:10:59 So, God knows that we were swept in the crowd. Some of us were swept in the crowd
1:11:03 and do not deserve to go to hell.
1:11:07 This is why God granted Abraham his understanding.
1:11:10 God granted you the fortune to come across the true message,
1:11:15 worshipping Him alone and upholding His word alone.
1:11:19 It's not because you're clever or because I'm smart.
1:11:23 It's because, apparently, God, not apparently, obviously God knew that some of us were swept
1:11:30 in the crowd somehow. And we agreed with Satan.
1:11:34 And we deserve the chance to come here to be redeemed.
1:11:40 So, the people who are taken, like Martin Luther King, taken only a few months before his 40th birthday,
1:11:47 Malcolm X, being taken two months before his birthday, his 40th birthday,
1:11:53 and all the other signs that we have seen.
1:11:56 In fact, if you look at verse 41, where you're holding the book now, you see in 41, it's the beginning of hell.
1:12:04 So, those of you who make the decision, we look in the previous Sura, verse 41.
1:12:10 Well, now we know, we know from this circle here that these numbers of verses are designed, divinely designed, for a reason.
1:12:17 And we have all these mathematical proofs.
1:12:20 Once you get into the age of 41, you'd better be worshipping God alone.
1:12:29 Just a second.
1:12:30 I don't wanna forget what I'm saying.
1:12:32 So, had God left Martin Luther King to live beyond the age of 40,
1:12:38 he would have been swept. That's the word that brought me to the next Khutba two weeks from now.
1:12:42 He would have been swept by his environment and his circumstances into maybe mentioning Jesus and things like that.
1:12:48 (unintelligible) He was a pastor in a church, I think.
1:12:52 But in his heart, and even vocally, he never said anything about Jesus.
1:12:56 Not that I heard of.
1:12:58 In his vast amount of recordings, he always talked about God.
1:13:02 So, this is why God chose to take him at that time
1:13:07 to protect him from going beyond to this number 41, and being swept by his environment and his circumstances into Christianity.
1:13:18 So, he will be like we see here on verse 90.
1:13:21 [56:90] If he belongs with those on the right - [56:91] Then, peace to you from those on the right.
1:13:26 We can be sure that God's justice put these people exactly in the right place.
1:13:32 He deserves to be in the Lower Heaven.
1:13:36 When, when Satan made that blasphemy billions of years ago, there were degrees of convictions among us.
1:13:43 To go from the jinns who completely agreed with Satan, to the majority of humans who were wishy-washy. They didn't...
1:13:51 to some who were swept in the crowd. And hopefully, that's us.
1:13:58 So, now Cathy has a question.
1:14:06 You're talking about a very special group of people who will be the closest to God on the Day of Judgement. They are very special people.
1:14:13 And this will be like when the Prophet Muhammad started to preach.
1:14:19 Well, let's go to Abraham.
1:14:21 Abraham started Islam.
1:14:24 And then there were people who were with him when the others were throwing him in the fire.
1:14:30 And then by the time the Prophet Muhammad came, they became idol worshippers.
1:14:33 Then, the message was renewed by revealing the Quran through the Prophet Muhammad.
1:14:38 And he was secretly preaching.
1:14:41 And there were people with him.
1:14:42 Those are very special people. This is the first generation.
1:14:45 And then Muhammad became victorious and he opened Mecca. And all the people in Mecca became believers.
1:14:50 They jumped in the wagon.
1:14:51 But they do not deserve the same credit as the people who were with him when he was being persecuted and having stones thrown at him. And
1:14:59 he was cursed and called names and persecuted.
1:15:05 Does this make sense?
1:15:07 So, that was a first generation at the time of Ibrahim, at the time of Muhammad.
1:15:12 And then ten years ago, Islam was totally corrupted.
1:15:16 There is not a single mosque in the world that upholds the commandment to mention only the name of God in the mosque,
1:15:22 in the worship practices and so on.
1:15:25 And then God renewed the message with this miracle.
1:15:29 So, now we are a first generation.
1:15:32 And the people who are in this movement, while it is being persecuted and the names and the insults and so on, are very special people.
1:15:41 Now, ten years from now, we'll probably have millions. Maybe twenty years, fifty years from now.
1:15:46 And everybody will jump in the wagon, but they do not deserve the same credit as you do.
1:15:50 So, these very special people will be multiplied from this generation.
1:15:55 And after that, when it is famous and successful and it is the thing to do, they don't deserve the same credit. They will not be in the same rank.
1:16:05 This is what we did last week when we were absent.
1:16:11 We don't even know if he was 40 or not. We didn't have birth certificates then.
1:16:15 By just guessing that the prophet was 40, when he was selected and given the Quran.
1:16:20 But it has nothing to do with that.
1:16:23 It is in the Quran, Sura 46, verse 50, it says... It's what it says there.
1:16:30 It's based on that.
1:16:31 Dr. Khalifa: Any other questions?
1:16:33 Lisa: [57:4] .... He is with you wherever you may be. God is Seer of everything you do.
1:16:39 He truly is in absolute control of the universe.
1:16:47 This verse, to me, expresses it very, very clearly and very, very beautifully.
1:16:54 Verse 5,
1:16:55 [57:5] To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. God is in full control of all things.
1:17:02 These verses again and again are saying absolutely what we've been saying that God does everything.
1:17:09 And yet it is so hard for us to accept that.
1:17:13 You can hear it and you can say "yes", but then you get sidetracked.
1:17:22 "Oh, if I don't take my vitamins I'm gonna get sick."
1:17:26 You aren't gonna get sick unless you deserve to get sick.
1:17:30 That doesn't mean you shouldn't take your vitamins.
1:17:32 Because God, you know, God has given us the vitamins. He has given us the medicines. He has given...
1:17:37 But we have to remember that God is the One who is controlling everything, who is doing everything.
1:17:43 God controls our bosses.
1:17:45 God controls our neighbors. God controls our spouses.
1:17:49 He controls not only the physical things.
1:17:50 He controls the emotions, the hearts and the minds of those around us and of us.
1:17:56 As Rashad pointed out so beautifully, God bestowed on Abraham his righteousness, his understanding.
1:18:03 Well, God says very clearly that He bestows on all of us our righteousness. It's not us.
1:18:08 It's not ours. We...
1:18:10 God gives it to us.
1:18:12 He controls our hearts and our minds.
1:18:15 If we make that one choice. The only thing we really control is that one choice of whether we worship God alone or not.
1:18:22 Once we've made that decision, He goes from there. He takes it from there.
1:18:27 And there are a lot of verses that talk about God misguiding those who disbelieve.
1:18:34 Well, they make.....
1:18:37 A woman: Yeah. Any questions about the Lower Heaven?
1:18:42 How?
1:18:46 41.
1:18:47 Hell goes right after 41. Wait, what?
1:18:53 It's 41.
1:18:55 My God.
1:18:56 Yeah.
1:18:57 Dr. Khalifa: This has a meaning.
1:19:00 Dr. Khalifa: Yep. 41 means hell.
1:19:03 If you don't make that decision.
1:19:07 Dr. Khalifa: If you don't make that decision by that time. A woman: Okay.
1:19:12 A woman: That's clear. I mean, wait a minute.
1:19:15 Dr. Khalifa: 41 and higher.
1:19:18 We didn't make the decision.
1:19:21 A woman: Subhan Allah.
1:19:22 Dr. Khalifa: Remember the circle?
1:19:24 This circle here means every verse in the Quran is numbered according to a system, God's system.
1:19:38 Dr. Khalifa: I seek refuge in God from Satan the rejected (أعوذ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ) [A'oodhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem]
1:19:39 We seek refuge in God from Satan, who was the basic cause for us being here in this world.
1:19:49 And, in fact, may God make it backfire on Satan and give us happiness in this world and forever
1:19:57 through believing in God alone.
1:19:59 Bism Allah Arrahman Arraheem In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
1:20:08 We are gonna start with Sura 51, page 366.
1:20:15 And our teacher tonight, I forgot his name. I don't know if you remember. What's your name, sir?
1:20:21 Douglas: Rashid
1:20:22 Dr. Khalifa: What's your name? Douglas: Rashid.
1:20:26 Dr. Khalifa: I'm serious. We actually forgot.
1:20:30 Dr. Khalifa: Rashid? Douglas: Douglas.
1:20:33 Douglas: It's Douglas. Douglas Brown.
1:20:35 Dr. Khalifa: Douglas Brown? Douglas: Yes.
1:20:36 Dr. Khalifa: You're sure? Douglas: I'm sure of that.
1:20:38 Douglas: You'll find out later when I...
1:20:42 Dr. Khalifa: He's a very nervous teacher today.
1:20:50 The Sura.
1:20:53 You know, a believer appreciates God differently from people who are unaware or who are not strong believers.
1:21:02 You can see here that the title of the Sura is "the Winds."
1:21:05 And we learn from the first few verses that the winds, their main job is to carry clouds and bring bounties.
1:21:14 We need that water.
1:21:16 So, in order to appreciate God and these simple words, just imagine yourself sending 10 astronauts to space.
1:21:25 You sending 10 astronauts to space. And you tell them
1:21:30 "Okay, you're gonna be out there for three years. And when you need water, I made an invention in the spaceship so there'll be these clouds on top of you and they will give you water."
1:21:40 You're sending them into space.
1:21:43 And you devise that system that will give them water, clean water.
1:21:49 When they pollute the water they have on the spaceship,
1:21:52 it's gonna... you know, one of the... number one purification processes is distillation.
1:21:59 So, when they pollute, their own water is gonna evaporate. It's gonna be pure water and come down again.
1:22:04 So, you tell them that, so, to assure them that they will have enough water supply for three years or five years, ten years, whatever
1:22:11 you're sending them. Just imagine that.
1:22:14 See, God sent this spaceship with five billion astronauts. You and me, we are astronauts.
1:22:19 That's right.
1:22:21 And God gave us this system.
1:22:23 God devised this system where the water evaporates and then comes down by... the wind drive the clouds here.
1:22:32 How far are we from the ocean?
1:22:34 We're far from the ocean.
1:22:36 But these clouds came to us from the ocean, by the wind.
1:22:40 It's a traveling system.
1:22:42 And that sends down pure water.
1:22:45 You appreciate God if you think.
1:22:48 But if you imagine sending ten astronauts in space and you tell them "I'm going to give the exact
1:22:54 percentage of oxygen for you to breathe."
1:22:57 Now, in 1967, we were technologically advanced people. In 1967.
1:23:04 But we put three astronauts in a capsule in an atmosphere of 100% oxygen.
1:23:11 Pure oxygen, right? To breathe.
1:23:15 And all it took was a spark.
1:23:16 And the three astronauts were combusted.
1:23:19 Ed White, Gus Grissom, and Roger Chaffee.
1:23:23 They're not with us today because of that.
1:23:27 We were really advanced in science.
1:23:31 But when you put anything in pure oxygen and light a match, everything would be combusted. Everything.
1:23:37 Everything organic, that is.
1:23:41 In fact, this is for chemists.
1:23:43 If any chemist is here, this is the last thing you do to find out if there is, for example, radioactivity in the ashes of anything.
1:23:50 You put it in a closed thing there. You fill it with 100% oxygen.
1:23:55 And you create a spark.
1:23:57 And everything will be combusted into ashes.
1:24:01 This is what happened to the three astronauts.
1:24:04 And this is why God didn't give us 100% oxygen. We have 20% oxygen. The rest is nitrogen.
1:24:11 And this is what they do now when they send astronauts into space.
1:24:17 But we learned the hard way.
1:24:20 So, despite our...
1:24:23 I mean, we were sending people to the moon.
1:24:26 And we couldn't give them the correct atmosphere.
1:24:31 So, these few verses here will make us appreciate God if we think of sending our own astronauts into space.
1:24:44 Of course, you know how the oxygen is generated for us.
1:24:47 We breathe it and we get out carbon dioxide, which is not good for breathing.
1:24:52 So, God designed the trees so they will take carbon dioxide and turn it into apples and give us the oxygen.
1:24:58 They take the carbon and give us back the oxygen.
1:25:02 How do you like that for a system? Can you do that for your astronauts?
1:25:08 You tell your 10 astronauts, you're gonna be out there for 10 years and you're gonna breathe out carbon dioxide. So, I'm gonna give you
1:25:14 a couple of... I invented these plants or something that will take your carbon dioxide, turn it into food for you, and you'll get the oxygen back.
1:25:26 That's what God's created.
1:25:29 And you think it's all evolution, right?
1:25:37 Are there any questions on these, the winds and the rains and bounties?
1:25:44 We're talking only about the 5 billion human beings. Don't forget the 10 decillion ants and about 200 billion mice. Ihsan.
1:26:01 There may be a few of them in this mosque running around.
1:26:06 The name scares her this way.
1:26:10 OK, back to Douglas.
1:26:11 Yes, Cathy.
1:26:13 Cathy: (unintelligible) and we do it. 3-year-old children, 2-year-old children. I mean, language is just amazing. (unintelligible)
1:26:29 Dr. Khalifa: This is mentioned specifically as a great miracle in the Koran, the language.
1:26:33 Just go to Europe.
1:26:36 Cathy: Well, We don't doubt it. Dr. Khalifa: Where...
1:26:41 Dr. Khalifa: Within a radius of 50 miles, not 50, 20 miles in Europe, you can come across 15 languages.
1:26:48 Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria.
1:26:53 Within Czechoslovakia, there are several languages.
1:26:58 And it's just amazing how these people understand each other, but these people don't understand them. They understand each other.
1:27:07 It's a miracle.
1:27:10 It's still amazing.
1:27:17 Douglas: Any questions or comments?
1:27:26 Dr. Khalifa: There you said it, his only son.
1:27:29 Isaac was never the only son.
1:27:32 You said the truth right there.
1:27:40 This is how they justify it.
1:27:42 It didn't say "take your only legitimate son." It said "take your only son."
1:27:46 Even if he's illegitimate.
1:27:49 But he was not illegitimate.
1:27:51 Did it say "you take your only son or your only legitimate son?"
1:27:58 No.
1:28:00 Somebody.... of course, the Jews and the Christians believe it was Isaac.
1:28:05 But that's a racial, that's a racial distortion.
1:28:09 They said "take your only son, Isaac,...."
1:28:13 So, they made a boo-boo there, because Isaac was never the only son.
1:28:17 So when you tell them, when you confront them with that "only son" business, because Ishmael was 14 years older than Isaac.
1:28:25 They tell you "oh, because Isaac was the only legitimate son. I said "OK, let's look at the Bible."
1:28:29 And the Bible consistently calls Ishmael Abraham's son until Ibrahim dies. And then they say
1:28:35 "when Abraham died, his two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, buried him."
1:28:41 So there's no way out.
1:28:47 No.
1:28:48 No, he didn't.
1:28:51 No, you read it in some novel.
1:28:55 From who?
1:29:00 No, no, it's not in Genesis, no.
1:29:05 OK, Abraham had, I mean, Sarah was sterile. She didn't have anything but Isaac.
1:29:15 There are lots of novels that he said, we married this and that.
1:29:28 Many other children are irrelevant, because the Quran and the Bible mention only Ishmael and Isaac.
1:29:35 Nobody else.
1:29:37 In Genesis 22, in Genesis 22, around 25, it says "when Abraham died, his two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, buried him."
1:29:49 So, Ishmael was Abraham's son.
1:29:52 He was the only son of Abraham for 14 years.
1:29:56 Isaac was never the only son.
1:30:03 Isaac is the father of the Jews. Ishmael is the father of the Arabs.
1:30:06 Dr. Khalifa: The Jews wrote about.... I mean, played around with the Genesis, the Torah.
1:30:12 A woman: So, the idea is that they just wanted a miracle to be a miracle to Isaac?
1:30:20 Dr. Khalifa: Right, they didn't want anything Ishmael to have anything to do with anything.
1:30:26 So, they made a big mistake. It's just like....
1:30:31 So, they made a big mistake. It's just like the two verses in the Quran.
1:30:36 Exactly, they made a glaring error.
1:30:40 And they tried to correct it in the newer editions of the Bible. They say "take your only one."
1:30:48 Trying very hard, but they make it worse.
1:30:50 The only one what? Donkey or....?
1:31:02 A woman: You're talking about (unintelligible).
1:31:09 Dr. Khalifa: They don't learn, do they?
1:31:11 They haven't learned a thing.
1:31:15 People bring their destruction on themselves.
1:31:18 We know that Sodom and Gomorrah, they were all corrupted beyond reform.
1:31:24 And this is the one thing that.... and they brought it on themselves.
1:31:29 So, it is God's law that when they do this, they are destroyed.
1:31:34 Nowadays, when homosexuals are spread in the society, you cannot just destroy the city of Tucson because there are
1:31:41 a thousand homosexuals in it.
1:31:44 But you can send a virus to pick them out.
1:31:49 This is what's happening now.
1:31:55 Their parents brought it on them.
1:32:00 Right, they brought it on themselves, their family.
1:32:03 Their family take the children out of God's protection.
1:32:06 This is what happens.
