0:19 بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

0:26 (36:2) يسٓ (36:1) وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ

0:37 (36:4) إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ (36:3) عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

0:46 (36:5) تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

0:52 (36:6) لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَـٰفِلُونَ

1:04 (36:7) لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

1:15 (36:8) إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَـٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ

1:31 وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَـٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ (36:9)

1:50 (36:10) وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

2:06 إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ (36:11)

2:24 Our guest is doctor Rashad Khalifa, who - he devoted most of his life for his own mission,

2:38 reading, learning, writing, researching and also preaching. But he is most remembered

2:55 by his last computer research, the divine mathematical codes in the Quran based on number

3:06 19. According to the Quran, SURA number 74, verse number 30:

3:18 عَلَيْهَا تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ

3:20 "over it are nineteen. But why 19?

4:11 I did a research in the Quran, and I was blessed by ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA to see the mathematical

4:28 Abdel Rahman: But I think also we are entitled to know how much benefit this...

4:34 It's great. It's honor actually to have it, but we would like to know how this mathematical

4:45 codes goes and how far it's benefit, and beneficial to the Muslim in his own living life? I mean,

4:54 the Quran is filled with miracles, and there's a lot of ways to approve that the Quran

4:59 is miracle. If you read it in Arabic, you will see a lot of verses applies to itself

5:06 that the Quran it's miracle and it's the word, really the word of God. But...

5:14 Dr. Khalifa: Well, this is the first physical evidence. The Quran is full of miracles, but all of

5:21 them are disputable, the linguistic excellence, the scientific miracles, and all these things.

5:27 The Quran is full of miracles, but the mathematical miracle is indisputable. It's physical

5:32 based on physical facts. Like BISMI ALLAH AL-RAHMAN AL-RAHIM being 19 letters, the

5:37 number of SURAs being 114. All these are physical facts, like the sun rising from the

5:42 east. It is indisputable unlike the previous miracles. So, and this is in accordance with God's

5:49 will in SURA of 41 verse 53, where God says

5:53 سَنُرِيهِمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فِى ٱلْـَٔافَاقِ

5:55 This is in the future tense. سَنُرِيهِمْ "We will show them our miracles in the horizons,

6:00 and within themselves, until they realize that this is the truth." So, the miracles of

6:04 the Quran are increasingly powerful. And then we get to this mathematical miracle which

6:11 is described by God Himself as "one of the greatest miracles." The SURA that you mentioned

6:16 74 عَلَيْهَا تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ the verse 30, and then the verses go on and on, saying

6:23 that this is one of the greatest miracles. It says

6:26 (74:32) كَلَّا وَٱلْقَمَرِ

6:27 (74:33) وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ

6:28 (74:34) وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَآ أَسْفَرَ

6:29 (74:35) إِنَّهَا لَإِحْدَى ٱلْكُبَرِ

6:31 It is one of the greatest miracles, and this is God's own description of it.

6:35 Abdel Rahman: You mean here the miracles, it's the computer age, right? That's what ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA... I noticed...

6:44 Dr. Khalifa: Well, the computer age...

6:45 Abdel Rahman: I noticed, excuse me for this, I noticed you used God. You didn’t use ALLAH

6:49 which the Quran always says is ALLAH, because the Quran came in Arabic. It didn't come

6:54 in English or in Persian. It come. قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّۭا

6:58 Dr. Khalifa: Actually, I did say ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA at least one time...

7:01 Abdel Rahman: I noticed you said God... Dr. Khalifa: Well, it depends on what language you speak.

7:04 If you speak English, you have to say God. If you speak Arabic, you have to ALLAH. So...

7:08 Because as you know, you're from Egypt

7:10 and you know the Egyptian cops use the word ALLAH. They say IN SHAA ALLAH. They say MA SHA ALLAH. And

7:15 some of them are named ABDULLAH. Abdel Rahman: Yes.

7:18 Dr. Khalifa: So, ALLAH is the Arabic word and has nothing to do....

7:22 Abdel Rahman: You mean using God, it's already okay? Dr. Khalifa: Of course it is... .

7:27 It depends on what language you use. If you

7:28 meet somebody in the street and say ALLAH here in the United States, some people think

7:35 ALLAH is a man who is named ALLAH, or ALLAH is a rock somewhere. And this is an actual

7:42 happening. My son was in a class where they told that ALLAH is a rock. My son had to

7:47 object. Abdel Rahman: But this we have nothing to do with this because

7:50 you know there are... Dr. Khalifa: What I mean is, it depends on what language

7:53 you use. If you use English, you have to use God. If you use French, you have to use Dieu.

7:58 If you use Farsi, you have to use KHODA. If you use Arabic, you have to use ALLAH.

8:02 Abdel Rahman: Let's go back again also to the computer. I would like to know how far it's beneficial

8:09 to the human being. You know, I'm a Muslim and you discovered that the computer age discovered

8:15 that the Quran... you discovered...  Dr. Khalifa: You're asking about the role of the mathematical

8:19 code... Abdel Rahman: Yes, to the Muslims.

8:21 ...as it applies to the Muslims and the non-Muslims. This is mentioned in the Quran immediately

8:26 after the number 19. It says...it gives you 5 reasons for the number 19. It says

8:32 وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ

8:34 that we made their number, for the following reasons:

8:36 Number 1

8:37 فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟

8:39 to disturb the disbelievers

8:41 فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟

8:43 to prove their disbelief.

8:47 لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

8:49 This is the number 2 reason

8:52 is to make the believers among the Christians and the Jews certain that this book, the Quran,

8:58 is from God.

9:00 لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

9:02 Number 3

9:03 وَيَزْدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنًۭا

9:06 So, the people who believe that the Quran is

9:08 from God, before the number 19, without the number 19, when they see the mathematical

9:14 code they will increase in faith.

9:16 يَزْدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنًۭا

9:19 And the fourth reason.

9:20 وَلَا يَرْتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

9:23 If any of the Muslims, or

9:26 the Christians, or the Jews have any doubt in their heart that this book, the Quran, is from God,

9:32 the mathematical code will help remove all this doubt.

9:35 Number 5 in the verse says

9:38 وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ وَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَـٰذَا مَثَلًۭا

9:43 And to expose the hypocrites and the disbelievers, they will say "so what?

9:47 this is not important." So, these are the five reasons that God Himself

9:52 gives as the role of the number 19 or the mathematical code in the Quran.

9:59 Abdel Rahman: Make the Muslim strongly believe that the Quran from God.

10:05 But there's SURAs, there's AYAs in the Quran by Arabic

10:10 approve to the Muslim and non-Muslim that the Quran is miracle,

10:15 it's the word of God. Like, for example, like

10:17 (39:5) يُكَوِّرُ ٱلَّيْلَ عَلَى ٱلنَّهَارِ

10:20 ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA, He said, He make... He cover the globe with the night and...

10:29 Dr. Khalifa: He rolls the day around the night, and the night around the day, proving that the

10:33 Earth is round. Abdel Rahman: Ah, how, how the messenger of God approved

10:39 this? How the messenger of God knows that? In the centuries later, there is such... to

10:44 approve this. So, if we go through the Quran, we will find a lot...

10:48 Dr. Khalifa: So, let us say that this verse will cause someone to believe in the Quran.

10:51 (39:5) يُكَوِّرُ ٱلَّيْلَ عَلَى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ ٱلنَّهَارَ عَلَى ٱلَّيْلِ

10:54 This person when he or she looks at

10:57 the mathematical code, God says in the Quran - not I am saying - God says that his belief

11:02 will increase. His faith will increase.

11:04 يَزْدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنًۭا

11:07 So, this is an additional confirmation or assurance or increase in faith.

11:13 Abdel Rahman: Alright. There is also another thing. You believe, you know, when you talk now you don't

11:19 believe in Hadith or Sunnah. Do you believe in Hadith or Sunnah?

11:23 Dr. Khalifa: I believe that the Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed because God says so in

11:27 the Quran. Abdel Rahman: And we don't have to use Hadith or Sunnah

11:30 at all? Dr. Khalifa: It doesn't matter or any other source.

11:31 Abdel Rahman: I noticed in the prayer here, you never mentioned the messenger of God, like, you ignored him completely.

11:39 Abdel Rahman: Do you have anything against him? Because you ignored... you said...

11:43 Dr. Khalifa: Is it true that I mentioned... Abdel Rahman: Yeah, you say ALLAH, then when you prayed, you

11:52 prayed, you read Fateha, but you didn't read Quran, you know. Something, it's actually

11:57 - I hope you will correct me if I'm mistaken or something - new to me, new to any Muslim,

12:03 because we know that when we stay, we say

12:06 الله. اشهد ان لا اله الا الله و ان محمد رسول الله

12:11 This is about Islam. You can't separate it. You can't say

12:15 اشهد ان لا اله الا الله I bear witness there is

12:19 no god but one God and you hold that the messenger

12:23 Muhammad is the messenger of God. If you hold it, you mean you shall not..

12:29 Dr. Khalifa: Is that right? Abdel Rahman: Well that's what I believe. I hope we will...

12:33 Dr. Khalifa: Let's look in the Quran again. If you look in the Quran, the Quran gives us the correct SHAHADA.

12:37 And this is in SURA number 3, verse 18 it says

12:40 شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمِ قَآئِمًۢا بِٱلْقِسْطِ

12:47 So, the SHAHADA according to ALLAH,

12:50 the angels, and those who know أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمِ is لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا الله

12:55 There is no محمد رسول الله there. This is one thing.

12:59 شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمِ

13:06 So, this is the correct SHAHADA

13:08 as dictated in the Quran. When you say لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله

13:13 you violate the most basic commandment in the Quran. The first one is the principle

13:21 of TAWHEED. You are not commemorating God Alone. You are putting a name besides God,

13:27 another name beside God. You are making distinction among the messengers of God. This is an important

13:34 commandment that you see in SURA 2 verse 285, for example. It's mentioned four times

13:40 in the Quran that you do not make, you shall not make any distinction among the messengers

13:45 of God. And it is done so powerfully that any Muslim who makes distinction is not a Muslim at all

13:55 because the Quran says لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦ ۚ وَقَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا

14:00 and these are the MU'MENs

14:01 ءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦ ۚ وَقَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ

14:12 Abdel Rahman: That is the Muslim, he doesn't, he shouldn't have to say لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله

14:19 but he believe لا اله الا الله and he believe

14:22 all the messengers of ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA, they are equal, no distinction between...

14:28 Dr. Khalifa: When was the last time you said لا اله الا الله یونس رسول الله

14:32 Abdel Rahman: Well, you actually do not say YUNES. When you say...

14:36 Dr. Khalifa: Answer my question. When was the last time you said لا اله الا الله یونس رسول الله

14:41 Abdel Rahman: I hope you will understand me. I'm not debating

15:18 I believe all the messenger including the last messenger of ALLAH SUBHANAHU...

15:22 Dr. Khalifa: Muhammad is not the last messenger. Abdel Rahman: Well, this is another...

15:27 Dr. Khalifa: Where do you get that? Where do you get that Muhammad is the last messenger? Abdel Rahman: Let's continue.

15:31 Dr. Khalifa: No, let me ask another question. Is Muhammad

15:34 dead or alive? Abdel Rahman: This is علم عندالله. As far as

15:40 I know, as a human being, he died. Dr. Khalifa: Muhammad is dead?

15:43 Abdel Rahman: As far as I know. Am I coming to be questioned, or I question you?

15:48 Dr. Khalifa: What do you mean? No, we're dealing with your question.

15:50 لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله We're looking at this statement from the logical point of view. Forget anything else.

15:56 God gave us a mind that He wants us to use. So, you are saying لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله

16:03 which means what in English? Abdel Rahman: I bear witness that there is no god but one

16:07 God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God. Dr. Khalifa: "Muhammad is the messenger of God". So, my

16:12 question is "is Muhammad dead or alive?" Abdel Rahman: What do you think?

16:19 Dr. Khalifa: What I think, the Quran says Muhammad is dead. (39:30) إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌۭ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ

16:22 Abdel Rahman: Yes. Dr. Khalifa: We know that Muhammad is dead unless he's

16:25 1,400 and some years old. Abdel Rahman: Yes.

16:29 Dr. Khalifa: Sitting somewhere. Abdel Rahman: Okay.

16:30 Dr. Khalifa: But he is in a grave now. He's dead, right? Abdel Rahman: Okay.

16:33 Dr. Khalifa: Now, do you think a dead man can be a messenger of God?

16:35 Abdel Rahman: No longer after he died... Dr. Khalifa: Exactly. So, why do you say Muhammad is the

16:39 messenger of God? He's not, he could not be a messenger of God because he's dead, is this true?

16:46 Abdel Rahman: I will go for it for the time being, okay. Let's go...

16:51 Dr. Khalifa: Well, can a dead man be a messenger of God? Abdel Rahman: He was a messenger of God and he already completed his mission.

17:01 Dr. Khalifa: Exactly, now therefore the correct statement would be محمد کان رسول الله

17:04 Therefore the statement لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله

17:07 is wrong, even from the purely logical point of view.

17:12 However, like I said the SHAHADA is in the Quran. Unfortunately, the Muslims do not follow

17:17 the Quran. And it says شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمِ

17:23 Therefore, anyone who says anything but لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا الله is not among أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمِ

17:28 He doesn't know. He is ignorant. It's due to ignorance.

17:33 This is why in the KHUTBA you saw me say لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا الله This is it. This is all we say.

17:38 Abdel Rahman: Also, you said you believe in the Quran, nothing

17:42 but the Quran, and we don't have to believe anything from Hadith. Why? We don't have

17:46 to pay attention to Hadith, why? Dr. Khalifa: Because God says in the Quran that the Quran

17:53 is complete, perfect, and fully detailed. And the question is "do you believe God or not?"

17:57 If you believe God, you'll believe that the Quran is complete, perfect, and fully

18:01 detailed. Listen to this. This is verse 114 in SURA 6. It say

18:06 أَفَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبْتَغِى حَكَمًۭا وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مُفَصَّلًۭا

18:11 Shall I seek out other than God as a source of law when He sent down to you this book

18:16 fully detailed? مُفَصَّلًۭا fully detailed.

18:20 Therefore, if you go to anything else, you will be a rejector of the Quran. You have rejected,

18:26 you have disbelieved God. So, this is the reason why. It doesn't matter how great the Hadith is.

18:34 Abdel Rahman: You know the Muslims usually, when they use

18:38 Hadith, it doesn't mean that they are overlapping the Quran. No, the Quran is divine constitution

18:48 of God to mankind. And who apply, who perform that constitution

18:58 to mankind better than Muhammad, the messenger of God, the one who redeemed it, the one who

19:03 received it, and delivered it to mankind. People always like to follow the one who receive it,

19:10 and to see how he perform it, how he - he show it to the people, then they follow

19:20 his way of performing the constitution of God.

19:24 It means like when I follow the Hadith doesn't mean I am away of the Quran. As far

19:29 as I know, I hope you correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just saying my statement and I'm

19:34 sure you will have a comment on it. That's as far as I know about the Muslim how they use Hadith.

19:41 What do you think? Dr. Khalifa: Well, first of all if the Quran is fully detailed

19:47 - not if the Quran - I mean, I know the Quran is fully detailed. God says the Quran is fully detailed.

19:51 Therefore, you don't need anything else.

19:54 We know that the Hadith are... we know now from many many years of research that the

20:01 Hadith are fabrications attributed to the prophet. Now the Satan, SHAYTAN knows

20:07 that we love the prophet very much, and he use that as a bait to catch...when you catch

20:14 fish, you put bait on a hook to catch the fish. Abdel Rahman: I think, I think - if you excuse me for interrupting

20:20 you Dr. Khalifa - the Muslim, they are aware of a lot of Hadith being injected to Hadith, not like Quran...

20:28 Dr. Khalifa: No, I'm talking about the Sahih Bukhari, for example. Sahih Bukhari is full contradictions,

20:33 blasphemies against the prophet. I can show you literally hundreds of Hadiths that are

20:40 considered attacks on the prophet. They distract from the greatness of the prophet Muhammad.

20:46 So, but the important point Abdel Rahman is that God says the Quran is complete, perfect,

20:53 fully detailed. This is the important point. So if you give me a Hadith that is fantastic

20:58 and great and has all the qualities of the best things in the world, I still cannot go

21:03 to it because God tells me the Quran is complete, perfect, and fully detailed.

21:08 But the fact is that the Hadith is actually a blasphemous attack against the prophet, and I gave you

21:17 an issue of the Muslim Perspective in Arabic proving that - I'm talking about Shahih Hadith of Bukhari

21:23 - they are a transgression against the prophet. Abdel Rahman: So, you are ignoring completely the great teacher

21:30 of Islam which Muhammad peace be upon him, he was a great teacher, was... He is the one

21:36 who received the message of Allah, and he taught it to the people. So, I consider him he is my leader.

21:42 Dr. Khalifa: You are missing the point. Abdel Rahman: OK. Let me know it.

21:44 Dr. Khalifa: Yeah, you are missing the point. Abdel Rahman: Okay.

21:46 Dr. Khalifa: The Hadith was never uttered by the prophet, has nothing to do with the prophet because

21:51 - did the Quran come out of the prophets mouth? Abdel Rahman: How did it come out?

21:56 Dr. Khalifa: Did the Quran come out of the prophet's mouth? Abdel Rahman: I will ask you, you won't ask me, how did it come out?

22:01 Dr. Khalifa: It doesn't matter how.

22:03 Abdel Rahman: Okay, you tell me how it come out. Dr. Khalifa: The Quran says that Gabriel brought it, released it...

22:06 Abdel Rahman: But how he revealed it to Muhammad?

22:08 Dr. Khalifa: Yes, through Gabriel. God revealed Quran, yes, to Muhammad.

22:11 It came out of his mouth. Abdel Rahman: Whose mouth?

24:26 (69:41) وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍۢ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ It is not the utterance of a poet.

24:32 (69:42) وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍۢ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

24:35 It is not the utterance of a soothsayer, or some... an Egyptian BAKKASH, somebody who's

24:46 (69:43) تَنزِيلٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ It came from the Lord of the universe.

24:50 (69:44) وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ If he uttered anything else

24:55 (69:45) لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِٱلْيَمِينِ (69:46) ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ ٱلْوَتِينَ

25:00 (69:47) فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَٰجِزِينَ None of you can protect him.

25:23 (69:47) فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَٰجِزِينَ So, this... the prophet Muhammad was forbidden

25:28 from explaining the Quran, or uttering any additional religious teachings, and this is

25:33 in the Quran. Abdel Rahman: So, you are actually trying to tell me

25:37 there is no way we have to follow the Hadith of the messenger of God, or follow

25:46 Dr. Khalifa: You still miss the point. It is not the Hadith of the messenger of God. It is the Hadith

25:55 And God told him "you have the Quran and nothing

26:09 قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ شَهِيدٌۢ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَأُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِۦ وَمَنۢ بَلَغَ

26:16 I was given this Quran to deliver to you and the future generation.

29:07 Abdel Rahman: But there is a lot of SURAs also remind the Muslim to follow ALLAH and the messenger of

29:14 God. For example, I probably I have some: يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ (4:136) عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ

29:25 (5:3) ٱلْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ

29:27 (33:56) إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ

29:30 You know, ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA also confirm it to the people to pray to Muhammad

29:35 because ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA praying to Muhammad, as far as I know, I hope you will understand

29:40 me and you will correct me if I'm wrong. Dr. Khalifa: Let me correct you.

29:42 Abdel Rahman: (24:47) وَيَقُولُونَ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَبِٱلرَّسُولِ

29:44 (24:52) وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَخْشَ ٱللَّهَ

29:47 (24:54) قُلْ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ

29:49 (24:56) وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ Dr. Khalifa: So, why do you disobey him then? Why are you

29:54 disobeying him when he tells you to uphold that the Quran is complete, fully detailed,

29:59 and you shall uphold the Quran alone? Why do you disobey him and go to something

30:02 else? Abdel Rahman: I see.

30:03 Dr. Khalifa: You see in the Quran it is telling you (24:54) أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ

30:07 So, why don't you listen and obey the ALLAH and the RASOOL?

30:11 Abdel Rahman: Okay. By obeying the messenger of God, and obeying because I know that the messenger

30:17 of God he is been taught by ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA, he was orphan and is taught

30:22 by ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA, and he is, he was perfect, he was perfect.

30:28 Dr. Khalifa: Okay, is this the reason for you to disobey him?

30:31 Abdel Rahman: No, to obey him. Dr. Khalifa: You're not obeying him when you go to other than the Quran.

30:35 Dr. Khalifa: But you are disobeying him when you... Abdel Rahman: Obeying him in the Quran and his way of life, way of life.

31:46 Abdel Rahman: Some verses in the Quran. So, this Quran, the one in my hand here, in Arabic, the one

31:59 man-made SURAs, you believe in that? Dr. Khalifa: Right.

40:08 (5:72) إِنَّهُۥ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ that heaven is forbidden

40:58 and this is exactly why God teaches us in the Quran that the SHAHADA is لا اله الا الله

42:47 Abdel Rahman: You do not believe in this. Dr. Khalifa: Of course, I believe in this.

42:51 Abdel Rahman: How do you believe in it? Dr. Khalifa: Well, do you know what يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى means?

42:55 Dr. Khalifa: Do you know what "AL-NABI" means, in the Quran? Also do you know that thirteen verses before

43:00 this, God says He and His angels do the same thing for every believer?

43:06 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ o you who believe, ٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ذِكْرًۭا كَثِيرًۭا commemorate

43:11 God continuously. (33:42) وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةًۭ وَأَصِيلًا

43:14 Glorify Him day and night.

43:16 هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُصَلِّى عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتُهُۥ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى (33:43) ٱلنُّورِ

43:22 So إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ

43:24 because AL-NABI is one of the believers.

43:27 Why? "To take him out of the darkness into the light", just like the other verse. And it says "o, you who

43:32 believe do the same thing, help him also, come out of the darkness into the light."

43:35 This is what it says. You have to understand...

43:38 Hold it. Hold it. You have to understand what the verse means, because Satan messed up this verse

43:43 for the Muslims and made them, instead of (33:41) ٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ذِكْرًۭا كَثِيرًۭا (33:42) وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةًۭ وَأَصِيلًا

43:49 AL-SHAYTAN AL-LA'IN, Satan decided that he's gonna make the people

43:53 commemorate Muhammad day and night, and یسبحوه محمد day and night, instead of God

43:58 So, they keep saying اللهم صلی علی محمد

44:00 صلی علی وسلم عليه صلاة وسلام

44:02 Instead of saying "SUBHAN ALLAH", "LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH" and so on. So, SHAYTAN, Satan succeeded

44:06 in tricking and duping the Muslims into commemorating Muhammad instead of God

44:11 by messing up the meaning of this verse. Now, the expression "AL-NABI" in the Quran,

44:17 you have to watch this, and I challenge the so called "ULUMA" in this subject, because

44:23 "AL-NABI" in the Quran is always in the Quran during his lifetime, when he was alive,

44:28 the word "AL-NABI." Like (49:2) لَا تَرْفَعُوٓا۟ أَصْوَٰتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ ٱلنَّبِىِّ

44:34 How can you carry out this commandment now? "Do not raise your voice over the voice

44:37 of the prophet" when he is dead? This means, you don't speak at all because his voice is still

44:44 if you do it now. So the word NABI

44:47 (65:1) يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ

44:49 How can the prophet divorce his wife when he's dead?

44:52 (66:1) يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكَ

44:54 So, consistently in the Quran the word NABI is during his lifetime. So,

44:59 (33:56) إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ means Muhammad during his lifetime.

45:03 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْه during his life time, help him, support him,

45:08 during his lifetime, not after he's dead, and every time you hear his name...

45:11 Abdel Rahman: ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA, He always precisely

45:15 in the Quran when He mentions the things we are carrying it as it is because we follow the

45:19 Quran as you said. ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA said يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟

45:24 in the time of the messenger means after the death of the messenger, do not صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْ

45:29 Muhammad. Dr. Khalifa: But, you don't know what the meaning of صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْه means.

45:32 Abdel Rahman: Pray to him, like... Dr. Khalifa: No.

45:34 Abdel Rahman: Or supporting him. Dr. Khalifa: Right.

45:35 Abdel Rahman: That's all supporting...?

45:37 Dr. Khalifa: SALLU comes from the word SALA, contact, connection, stay close to him, help him,

45:42 support him. It doesn't mean...it doesn't say: "say صلی علی وسلم" because it contradicts itself.

45:48 You know, it says in the beginning إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ

45:52 So, do you agree that ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ

45:54 Abdel Rahman: This is the present time. Dr. Khalifa: Yes. Hold it. Hold it.

45:57 Do you agree that ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ

45:59 Abdel Rahman: Yes, I do. Dr. Khalifa: So ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ now يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ Abdel Rahman: Yes.

46:02 Dr. Khalifa: So, why are you telling Him to صَلُّوا عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ if He's doing it?

46:05 Abdel Rahman: Since ALLAH and His angels praying on Muhammad, I am as a Muslim, should pray on Muhammad,

46:13 and on every single Muslim who is believes in Islam.

46:17 Dr. Khalifa: Yeah, but according to you, you are saying "اللهم صلی علی محمد" right? Abdel Rahman: Yes.

46:20 Dr. Khalifa: But already ALLAH tells you that

46:22 He is making SALAT on Muhammad. Abdel Rahman: That's why I ask ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA to accept my

46:26 praying to Muhammad. Dr. Khalifa: No, but He's already doing it. You're asking

46:29 God to do what He's saying He's doing. Abdel Rahman: For me.

46:31 Dr. Khalifa: But you can see that Satan messed up the meaning of this verse. What this really means is during

46:36 the prophet Muhammad's time, because of the use of the word "AL-NABI"; o you who believe,

46:41 support him and help him and stay in touch with him. This is what it means. But the Muslims

46:45 messed it up and Satan uses it to make the Muslims worship Muhammad instead of God. This is why

46:51 I call them Mohammedans. Abdel Rahman: So, we shouldn't actually do that. We shouldn't

46:57 actually mention Muhammad in - as I saw you in the prayer, JUM'AH prayer here, you never mentioned

47:06 Muhammad for anything. Dr. Khalifa: I'll mention if I need to. I mean, what do we mention him for?

47:09 Abdel Rahman: You never mentioned. You said -  I mean, it's not...

47:30 إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُوا۟ نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ (63:1) إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

47:36 So, throughout the Quran only the hypocrites say اشهد ان محمد رسول الله

47:42 Abdel Rahman: So, actually you're ignoring completely the, the way Muhammad used to live, and to ignoring

47:52 to reject for us as a Muslim to know how Muhammad he used to live his right way according to

47:58 the Quran, so we have to follow it. Dr. Khalifa: Are you ignoring the way Muhammad used to

48:01 live? Abdel Rahman: No, I would be glad to go for it.

48:03 Dr. Khalifa: So, why are you wearing a tie? Did he wear a tie?

48:06 Abdel Rahman: I'm not going for... we are not going for outside as much inside in praying, worshipping...

48:12 Dr. Khalifa: Now, wait a minute. You're talking about the way he lived.

48:14 Abdel Rahman: The way he used to live in belief... Dr. Khalifa: Do you have your camel parking out there?

48:33 Dr. Khalifa: Even according to Hadith it says کان خلقه القرآن Abdel Rahman: Yes.

48:36 Dr. Khalifa: He represented the Quran, right? Abdel Rahman: Yes.

48:38 Dr. Khalifa: And now we have the Quran. Abdel Rahman: Okay.

48:40 Dr. Khalifa: So, therefore if you want to follow Muhammad, you follow the Quran.

48:43 Abdel Rahman: Okay. How do you know... Dr. Khalifa: Wait a minute. Is this true?

48:45 Abdel Rahman: It's true. Dr. Khalifa: Alright. So, this is what we're doing.

48:47 We're following the Quran, which means we're following Muhammad.

49:07 (5:99) مَّا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ Abdel Rahman: I think, as far as I know, in this SURA, it means like

49:13 you, Muhammad, do not force people to believe in Islam. You are only responsible for delivering

49:23 in the Quran, it is repeated. (5:99) مَّا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ

49:26 (24:54) عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ And repeated many times.

49:30 So, the sole function of the prophet or the messenger is to deliver the message.

49:33 Abdel Rahman: That's all? Dr. Khalifa: (28:56) إِنَّكَ لَا تَهْدِى مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ

49:35 Abdel Rahman: وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ Dr. Khalifa: Right.

49:37 Abdel Rahman: This is also supporting the same AYA, so you said it now. It's like you don't force it on people for believing,

49:44 no, you just deliver the message, and you perform it, and teach the people how to do it.

49:49 Dr. Khalifa: No, no, no. Now, you are adding other things,

49:51 because it says (5:99) مَّا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ

49:54 There's nothing else. Abdel Rahman: These people come to the mosque here, who they follow? They follow you, how to do, right?

49:59 Dr. Khalifa: No, they follow the Quran. They don't follow me. Abdel Rahman: You teach them,

50:02 Abdel Rahman: you hold this Quran and you teach them in the Quran, so they sit and listen

50:05 and look at you, and they say that's right, that's right. Who is right?

50:08 Dr. Khalifa: The Quran. Abdel Rahman: Doctor Khalifa right in a way of interpreting the

50:12 Quran here. So, I am following doctor Khalifa. I am not actually... Dr. Khalifa: No, you are not.

50:16 Dr. Khalifa: You follow doctor Khalifa then you're not right.

50:22 not follow any person. And we emphasize here we are worshipers of God alone, we follow

50:27 the word of God alone, and if I ever say anything that is not in the Quran and it contradicts

50:37 Abdel Rahman: If I am following... Dr. Khalifa: Nobody follows me.

50:39 Abdel Rahman: If I am following the Quran, why should I come to this mosque to listen to Khalifa?

51:14 It says "force yourself to be with those who worship God alone." Because it's a social function. This is why

51:20 God instituted the Friday Prayer every week, so all the believers who follow the Quran

51:23 alone must get together. They must know each other. They must be united, as you know. Throughout

51:28 the Quran these instructions are there. This is the only reason we are here.

51:39 because we have our leader is the Quran. Our imam is the Quran. Our guide

51:43 is the Quran, the word of God. We are worshippers of God alone. And we go out of our way to destroy persons

51:50 or idols of any kind, alive or dead. So, this is the reason we get together here.

53:52 4 steps. Now, Satan will not accept that. He has to
