0:17 she came by to check us out and unfortunately she got shocked because the way we were treating the God's messenger.

0:26 According from Quran, the verse is 6:8 says

0:33 [6:8] They also said, "If only an angel could come down with him!" Had we sent an angel, the whole matter would have been terminated, and they would not have been respited.

0:48 Chapter 6, verse 9 says,

0:52 [6:9] Had we sent an angel, we would have sent him in the form of a man, and we would have kept them confused.

1:00 43:53 and 6:50 say the same thing,

1:04 [6:50] Say, "I do not say to you that I possess the treasures of GOD. Nor do I know the future. Nor do I say to you that I am an angel. I simply follow what is revealed to me." Say, "Is the blind the same as the seer? Do you not think?"

1:24 6:158 says,

1:26 [6:158] Are they waiting for the angels to come to them, or your Lord, or some manifestations of your Lord? The day this happens, no soul will benefit from believing if it did not believe before that. So, "Keep on waiting; we too will wait."

1:49 [2:210] Are they waiting until GOD comes down to them in dense clouds, with the angels? The whole matter will then be terminated, and to GOD everything will be returned.*

2:09 [16:33] They are waiting for the angels ...

2:10 [16:33] They are waiting for the angels to come to them, or until your Lord's judgment comes to pass. Those before them did the same thing. GOD is not the One who wronged them; they are the ones who wronged themselves.

2:27 11:12

2:28 [11:12] You may tend to disregard some of that which is revealed to you, and you may be annoyed by it. When they may say, "How come no treasure comes down to him, or an angel?" You are only a warner; GOD controls all things.

2:51 15:7 says,

2:52 [15:7] "Why do you not bring down the angels, if you are truthful?"

2:57 15:8 says,

2:58 [15:8] We do not send down the angels except for specific purpose. Otherwise, no one will be respited.

3:05 17:92 says,

3:07 [17:92] "Or unless we cause masses from the sky to fall on us, as you claimed. Or unless you bring GOD and the angels before our eyes.

3:17 17:95 says,

3:19 [17:95] "If the earth were inhabited by angels, we could have sent down to them from the sky an angel messenger."

3:27 [25:22] The day they see the angels, it will not be good news for the guilty; they will say, "We are irreversibly confused."

3:38 [43:60] If we willed, we could have made you angels colonizing the earth.

3:48 Behrouz: I wish to God that among us there would be anyone that would not believe in God's messenger

3:53 because God's messenger, Alhamdu Lillah, is live and well among us and we just have to obey.

4:05 And constantly, Quran repeated, you have to believe in God and obey His messenger.

4:11 Right after "God" comes the word of "messenger."

4:14 You have to follow the messenger.

4:17 Excuse me.

4:18 Obey the messenger.

4:24 Now, a couple of weeks ago, our brother Muhtesem talked about the responsibility, but today,

4:31 God willing, I'm gonna specify our responsibilities, which is God's will that's the time we are in this world now.

4:39 And believe me, anything happens in this Masjid, I have seen it with my own eyes.

4:45 Just last week, in computer room, Dr. Khalifa was writing the new perspective,

4:51 and there was a word, it would not go to the computer.

4:55 That was not God's will.

4:57 It took some time, either it was shorter or a long.

5:00 That it took some times till it eventually (unintelligible). That was God's will. Alhamdu Lillah.

5:04 So, anything happening over here, Alhamdu Lillah, it's just like God is looking at us, all of us, right in here, and it's a very, very

5:12 crucial moment.

5:16 Now, so, we have to obey this responsibility.

5:22 Now, God is telling us how to fulfill this responsibility about our messenger.

5:29 We shall not argue with the messenger.

5:32 There is no way whatsoever we can argue with the messenger.

5:35 That's arguing with the word of God, with God's messenger.

5:40 And when a verse says that after, if you die before age of 40, you go to Heaven, that's it.

5:49 We cannot ask him why.

5:51 If you have any problem, you can ask God, because his job is to just deliver the message.

5:59 6:33 says,

6:00 [6:33] We know that you may sadden by what they say. You should know that it is not you that they reject; it is GOD's revelations that the wicked disregard.

6:14 Unfortunately, last week, that is fortunate actually, Dr. Shakira came from San Francisco,

6:22 and she was, she is a beautiful, Mã Shã Allãh, a very, very strong believer.

6:28 If she was not, she would have left the message, Masjid because she actually said it herself that

6:35 "I'm confused", the way we are treating the messenger.

6:41 We cannot have any opinion or any suggestions.

6:45 It's just the word of God.

6:48 And if you all remember the story of Moses and his teacher, he kept interrupting him,

6:55 Why did you kill that? Why did you take the, made a hole in the ship?

7:00 We, we are not supposed to ask these questions.

7:02 When the right time comes, we will find out ourselves, IN SHAA ALLAH.

7:08 49:1 says,

7:10 [49:1] O you who believe, do not place your opinion above that of GOD and His messenger. You shall reverence GOD. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient.

7:20 The reason is because we might help the messenger.

7:23 9:61 says

7:25 [9:61] ... He is a mercy for those among you who believe." Those who hurt GOD's messenger have incurred a painful retribution.

7:38 33:57 says,

7:40 [33:57] Surely, those who oppose GOD and His messenger, GOD condemns them in this life, and in the Hereafter; ...

7:49 [33:69] O you who believe, do not be like those who hurt Moses, then GOD absolved him of what they said. He was, in the sight of GOD, honorable.

8:04 61:5 says,

8:05 [61:5] Recall that Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you hurt me, even though you know that I am GOD's messenger?" When they deviated, GOD diverted their hearts. For GOD does not guide the wicked people.

8:25 [49:2] O you who believe, do not raise your voices above the voice of the prophet,* nor shall you shout at him as you shout at each other, lest your works become nullified while you do not perceive.

8:45 [49:3] Surely, those who lower ...

8:48 This is 49:3,

8:50 [49:3] ... who lower their voices at the messenger of GOD are the ones whose hearts are prepared by GOD to become righteous.* They deserve forgiveness and a great recompense.

9:06 [49:4] As for those who call on you from outside the walls, most of them do not understand.

9:16 We cannot call "Dr. Khalifa, come over here. We wanna go, let's do the prayer."

9:23 We cannot do that.

9:25 This is, it doesn't bother him personally, but this is, it's gonna nullify our, our work, whatever we have done.

9:36 God says on 49:5,

9:38 [49:5] Had they been patient until you came out to them, it would have been better for them. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

9:48 As for any communities, this community, we have to have discipline,

9:55 disciplines according to the God's law that we have to follow.

10:00 Now, I'm just gonna give you an example, that is outside example.

10:08 It's probably the human and devil kingdom, but you cannot and you will not call President Bush by his first name.

10:19 Have you seen anyone call him by his first name?

10:22 If he was here right now with us, we would wear all suit and tie,

10:27 he had millions of bodyguards, and you would come and sit just like that.

10:31 Now, but messenger is a position that God has given, and this is the highest point, position in this world.

10:42 And we have to follow God's word. God called him messenger.

10:48 For the newcomers, they come outside, they see us, we have Friday classes.

10:57 When they leave, they don't know who was the messenger, who was the student, who was the teacher.

11:02 Everybody is laying down, some people are sleeping.

11:05 Please, we have to cut this off, because this is against God's law, against God's rules.

11:12 Please, over here, this side of this door, be very formal.

11:19 When we go outside, when we go inside to RASOOL ALLAH, just call him Rashad, or whatever you want as a friend.

11:27 But when we are here, on this side of the door, please let us be example for the newcomers.

11:34 We don't want someone, as a reporter, come over here, they call him RASOOL ALLAH, and then call him, Rashad.

11:39 Don't you feel funny when there is someone coming from outside, they tell us what to tell him?

11:45 Like God already called him RASOOL ALLAH.

11:47 God positioned him as a RASOOL ALLAH.

11:50 So, we have to, I mean, this is up to everybody, whatever they want, we think about it, but

11:57 this is God's rule. This is God's law. This is the rule we should have among us.

12:03 This is a very, very crucial moment that we have to take heed, and understand it.

12:08 We are so busy with the miracle of 19, we forgot the small things over here.

12:14 And one is, please, you can call him RASOOL ALLAH, Mr. Khalifa, Dr. Khalifa.

12:20 Please, when we are having on a study group, don't, don't call by the first name.

12:25 First name is me, or you, or others, but he is RASOOL ALLAH.

12:36 God is teaching us everything, all for the, even the manners, how to treat each other, and RASOOL ALLAH, His messenger.

12:48 Last conference, that was my first conference, I didn't know many people, I only knew Dr. Khalifa,

12:53 and Susan, Lisa, and few other people, because of my last visit for a couple of days.

13:00 At the time of conference, I was sitting on the right hand side, facing the microphone,

13:06 I was leaning to the bookshelf, and I was watching the whole group, there was a gentleman among us.

13:17 He would not leave the meeting. He would not come in unless Dr. Khalifa turned to him, or accidentally see him, he said "can I go?"

13:25 Then, he would go.

13:27 And that gentleman was Sammy. That is his son.

13:31 And we all, I just have to thank you, this is the thing that every one of us, we have to know this, is to learn it.

13:38 We have to learn this lesson.

13:41 This is and mine, and all of you, I'm sure, is the first messenger.

13:46 We do not know how to treat.

13:48 And last time, I, I probably said something wrong, and I called Dr. Khalifa, I said

13:55 "I'm very sorry, you are my first messenger, and I don't have no experience about it, just forgive me, please."

14:01 And so as for all of us, it's no problem, we just don't know, but that doesn't mean that

14:08 we just have to keep following whatever we have been doing.

14:14 Now, God says on 24:62,

14:18 [24:62] The true believers are those who believe in GOD and His messenger,* and when they are with him in a community meeting, they do not leave him without permission.

14:31 Again, God says exactly the same thing,

14:34 Those who ask your permission are the ones who do not believe in God, who, I'm sorry, who do believe in God and His messenger.

14:44 He put the God and His messenger first sentence, and then get the permission, and then the second sentence,

14:50 He said, these are the ones, they believe in God and His messenger.

14:53 I mean, this is very, very crucial and important.

14:56 And just from this, this verse, we get millions of things about how to treat the messenger.

15:04 It's just completely different with, with anyone else on this earth.

15:15 My brother, Mahmood JAN, just mentioned to me, verse 7, Sura 7:31.

15:31 God says,

15:32 [7:31] O children of Adam, you shall be clean and dress nicely when you go to the mosque. You shall eat and drink moderately. God does not love excess.

15:47 Now, please again, brothers, sisters, just, I love you, that's why I'm talking about this.

15:54 If there was someone outside, I would not.

15:56 I would tell my children, I would tell my mom, because I care about them.

16:02 And please, when you come in, freedom, it's a beautiful word.

16:11 But when you are in a group, when you are in a society, when you are in a, this community,

16:17 it's completely freedom. But being having respect is different.

16:22 So please, I wanna ask you, I love you, especially the ones,

16:25 I, I know they have the same feeling about me too, but this is the word of God. Please do not lay down.

16:32 We have the, I know for some of us, it's very uncomfortable to sit down. But believe me, it's very uncomfortable in the Hell, too.

16:40 To be (unintelligible) it's only two hours.

16:42 And you are, if you are sleeping, please sleep at home, and come later. I mean, this is, it's, it's not bad.

16:49 I'm sorry.

16:52 Please don't get mad at me, because we all, if, he, he does not, we don't know it.

16:58 We just do not notice these things.

17:00 We think, if you go to a class, do you lay down and make a position like you are in a Hollywood and then take a movie?

17:48 Believe me, if you are in that room, if one child runs from here to there, it's like an airport over there.

17:54 Believe me. I, I was there two days ago, in the afternoon, there was no one in the office, I was taking care of

18:00 Ahmad's children, beautiful, but they just went to get the pillow, bring it back over here and sleep. And they slept.

18:06 I couldn't believe it.

18:08 But as soon as they run over there, it's, I don't know what happened, the reaction over there, it's just like an airport.

18:16 Now, Friday nights, RASOOL ALLAH, Susan, Lisa, Emily, they are here, they work 19, 20 hours a day.

18:27 They need the rest.

18:29 Now, after this last meeting, everybody, every, all the kids, they get up,

18:34 they bring the pillows, they have fun over there. Please take care of them.

18:37 Please let them, you know, have them, quiet them down, please.

18:48 Now, we repent.

19:01 Alhamdu Lillah, Ash-hadu Alla Elaha Ella Allah Wahdahu La Shareeka Lah.

19:13 The other point, the subject that I wanna talk about is, it's about ego, the ego as a god.

19:19 [45:23] Have you noted the one whose god is his ego? Consequently, GOD sends him astray, knowingly and seals his hearing and his mind, and places a veil on his eyes. Who then can guide him, after such a decision by GOD? Would you not take heed?

19:42 Please, this is, this is a very very sensitive point, very sensitive action that most of the time,

19:51 knowing, without knowing it, we just pass through it,

19:55 then later on we find out about it, then we're gonna be, feel sorry about it.

20:01 The other point is, out there, there is a word, they call it intelligent, smart, entrepreneur, so and so, genius, whatever.

20:12 This is not this place's word. This is not God's word.

20:17 Behrouz: The only intelligent to God is repeated in 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,17...16,17

20:31 Dr. Khalifa: 16, 17

20:33 Behrouz: About 18 verses that I could have find

20:37 that God calls intelligent only to the one they believe in God and follow God's system.

20:44 That's it.

20:45 God doesn't, He doesn't care if you are in real estate, you make billions of dollars,

20:49 good for you, if you are genius, good for your parents, that's fine.

20:53 If, but when you come to this masjid, please, as you take off your shoes, please take off you ego,

21:00 take off your genius, hang it on a tree and come in.

21:03 I'm just telling you as a friend, because I try my best to do it, and believe me, every night when I go home,

21:10 I repent and I ask God, if I did something wrong today, please forgive me.

21:15 I ask God for four months to be in here in this masjid, to be close to His messenger.

21:21 And Alhamdu Lillah, He granted it.

21:23 But now, I'm just going by the rule that please God, if I make something, some mistake, please let me know.

21:30 So, if someone tells you this and that, this is because we are brothers, we are sisters,

21:36 and I really appreciate the ladies, they, we, men, have to learn from them, please become a gentleman.

21:44 Because I haven't seen any ladies to lay down or, I just love it.

Let them beware—those who disobey his orders—for a disaster may strike them, or a severe retribution. (لَّا تَجْعَلُوا۟ دُعَآءَ ٱلرَّسُولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُعَآءِ بَعْضِكُم) [24:63]

26:28 Dr. Khalifa: It's in the Quran. Edip: But we call,

26:30 Edip: But we shouldn't say that Muhammad only by itself. We shouldn't say Moses by itself.

26:34 Edip: We shouldn't make distinction between messengers. Dr. Khalifa: They're not, they're not here. They're not here.

26:37 Dr. Khalifa: I will discuss it, Edip: But all the same mistake.

26:39 Dr. Khalifa: I will discuss it tonight. But you can leave your ego outside or stay with it outside.

27:10 Obviously, we have a problem that caused our dismissal from God's kingdom,

27:26 And then, God gives us lessons in the Quran to teach us that we are rebels.

27:37 Otherwise, why, why does God put in the Quran those lessons, those examples from life?

27:45 The biggest Sura in the Quran, the longest Sura, is entitled "the Heifer."

27:54 Even though it's a Sura that is full of, all the five so-called pillars of Islam are in Sura number two.

28:04 The order to Pray, the orders to Fast Ramadan, the orders to give Zakat, the orders to make pilgrimage,

28:19 the rules of marriage, divorce, war, they're all in Sura number two.

28:24 But the title indicates the importance of, of the subject that is within every Sura.

28:33 And God chose the title "the Heifer."

28:37 So, what is the Heifer?

28:39 The Heifer symbolizes the people who, who are with the messenger, but they are rebels.

28:50 And they give the messenger a hell of a time.

28:54 This is what the Heifer is all about.

28:57 So, if we are fortunate, we will learn from this.

29:01 And we will catch our rebellious nature

29:05 and correct it in order to be redeemed back to God's kingdom, to, to get rid of the rebellion, and to correct it.

29:18 Moses told his people, God orders

29:21 [2:67] ... you to sacrifice a heifer. ...

29:27 So, what did they do?

29:34 They said "are you kidding?"

29:37 He said, I seek refuge in God, lest I be that ignorant.

29:48 And you know the rest of the story. I'm not gonna tell you the story of the Heifer again. But why is God putting it there? Why God is putting so much importance on it?

29:58 And giving the name of the, the title of the Sura from that incident, why?

30:04 It's for us to learn.

30:07 The same story happened this afternoon.

30:11 Very similar story.

30:15 And the fortunate ones are the ones who learn from their, their, their God-given lessons.

30:28 I mean, we, we love each other very much, and we know that we are in the, in the purification process.

30:36 We're being purified.

30:39 I love Hamid very much. I don't know if he's here or not.

30:42 But today, he, after a discussion with some people about the way he was dressed.

38:41 I want to share some verses from Quran.

38:43 Bism Allah Arrahman Arraheem

38:44 I seek refuge in God from Satan the rejected (أعوذ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ) [A'oodhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem]

38:46 [2:269] ... Only those who possess intelligence will take heed.

38:51 God always says, intelligent people will take heed.

38:55 The other verse,

38:56 [17:36] You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.

39:10 These are two verses from Quran.

39:12 And God says in Quran, believers are brothers.

39:17 [49:12] O you who believe, you shall avoid any suspicion, for even a little bit of suspicion is sinful. You shall not spy, nor shall you backbite one another; this is as abominable as eating the flesh of your dead brother.

49:15 Or if I raise my opinion above the opinion of the messenger? How will my work be nullified?

49:20 "I Pray five times a day. I Fast the month of Ramadan. I worship God alone."

49:24 What God is telling me, if you raise, place your opinion above that of God and the messenger, your works are nullified.

49:34 How, what is the mechanism of nullifying my works by doing this?

49:39 Here's the mechanism.

49:41 Because when I do this to the messenger, and there is an outsider who will come and see this,

49:46 now the outsider comes and sees that one of the closest persons to the messenger is telling him

49:52 "you don't believe in God's Omnipotence. You don't believe that this and that."

49:57 So, the outsider will leave. Okay, and become a disbeliever, for example.

50:02 If I do this and drive the outsider away, I will carry this person's sins.

50:08 This is how my works should be nullified.

50:11 Why, why is God saying this?

50:13 Is, is God advocating idol worship, or what?

51:59 But God tells us in the Quran, He sent the angel to Mary, carrying this command "to be."

52:10 And, and God speaks in the plural.

52:12 Dr. Khalifa: He said, "we blew into" Mary "from our spirit."

52:16 Dr. Khalifa: So, therefore, therefore, God is teaching us that there is a system of be, and it is.

52:23 God, God didn't, didn't just sit up there in the first universe, He said "be", and Jesus was.

52:31 The mechanism was that the angel Gabriel came down to the planet earth, which cannot stand the physical presence of God,

52:38 and Gabriel carried that command.

53:25 Well, who am I, who am I to decide that? God Himself told us that He sent the angel with the command. These are two identical things.

53:34 And you can... God also said He sent the angels to turn Sodom upside down.

53:39 So, I cannot say otherwise. I have to abide by what God said.

53:46 If God said He sent the angels to turn it upside down, I can't say that God can sit up there and say "be", and it is upside down.

53:55 God is teaching us that there is a system, there is a mechanism.

54:00 But the point that Behrouz was talking about is nullifying our works.

54:05 And it brings out this very serious idol worship that is idolizing our opinion.

54:12 We must give up our opinion in favor of God's opinion.

54:16 God said He sent the angel to blow into Mary from, from God's Spirit,

54:22 Dr. Khalifa: through the mediation of the angel, we have to believe that.

1:19:36 Idolize one's opinion means you hold fast to it. Just like Dr. Sabahi spotted it.

1:21:18 I thought prophet was walking with a halo, you know, over his head. You couldn't see his face. All these things.

1:21:24 Dr. Masoud: I came over here and I saw that the prophet is somebody like me, and somebody like you. You can talk to him. Dr. Khalifa: Messenger.

1:21:31 Dr. Masoud: But now you are just completely different. Dr. Khalifa: This will never change.

1:22:18 [39:18] They are the ones who examine all words, then follow the best. These are the ones whom GOD has guided; these are the ones who possess intelligence.

1:22:27 And I think that one of the things that Satan's doing here is that he is making people feel that their words are better than someone else's.

1:22:36 And what we're supposed to do is that whenever we discuss anything or follow

1:22:40 the messenger of God or what have you, the ultimate is always God's words.

1:22:45 Another verse in the Quran is in Sura 58, verse 10. It says,

1:22:50 [58:10] Secret conspiracy is the devil's idea, through which he seeks to hurt those who believed. ...

1:22:55 He seeks to hurt those who believe.

1:22:58 [58:10] ... However, he cannot hurt them against GOD's will. In GOD the believers shall trust.

1:23:03 And I think we all should remember that God says in the Quran that He's aware of the innermost thoughts.

1:23:09 And He will cause to come forth in us all of our weaknesses.

1:23:14 That He will bring out our weaknesses according to His will and that when these weaknesses come out,

1:23:21 if we are really sincere and we worship God alone, we will pray to Allah to face them in ourselves and we will follow what is best.

1:23:31 We will follow and examine the words and follow what, what is best

1:23:35 and we will not try to defend our own weaknesses and our own opinions and our own words.

1:23:41 Because I, I think all of us do and God knows this. This is an extremely critical time.

1:23:47 Not just this situation, but in a very short time and I think all of us feel this.

1:23:54 The miracle in the Quran, the awareness that Rashad is the Messenger of the Covenant is going to spread like wildfire.

1:24:03 It is going to spread like wildfire. It's almost as if we are on the verge

1:25:38 Apamea: Verse 130.

1:25:40 [3:130] O you who believe, you shall not take usury, compounded over and over. You shall observe GOD, that you may succeed.

1:25:49 [3:131] Beware of the hellfire that awaits the disbelievers.

1:25:53 [3:132] You shall obey GOD and the messenger, that you may attain mercy.

1:26:03 We have discussed in great deal, detail about usury a few weeks ago.

1:26:09 But going back to one of the verses, chapter 2, verse 275.

1:26:17 There is a good section about this.

1:26:21 [2:275] Those who take usury are in the same position as those who are possessed by the devil. This is because they claim that usury is the same as trade. GOD has made trade lawful, and has made usury unlawful. Whoever heeds this commandment from his Lord, and refrains from usury, he may keep his past earnings, and his judgment rests with GOD. As for those who persist, they incur Hell, they abide therein forever.

1:26:48 This is exactly what God is telling us here.

1:26:50 And we should realize what the difference is between trade and usury,

1:26:54 where usury is lending money at excessive interest and taking advantage of the situation.

1:26:59 Especially in this section, where God is teaching us about the war. It was war time.

1:27:06 We have talked about the battle of Badr last week.

1:27:09 And some people, because of the economic situation, could very much take advantage of that,

1:27:15 and hurt others.

1:27:18 And God teaches us that that is evil.

1:27:21 And the people who commit this wicked act, their place is in the hellfire and they are disbelievers.

1:27:31 And definitely, this is given to us many times from God and the messenger confirms it.

1:27:38 And we should attain certainty about it and have... so that we can have mercy from God.
