0:42 Today is the first day of a new year. It is January 1st, and I don't see a single person with a hangover in here.
0:55 The first day of the new year of 1988
1:00 is also the first day of the rest of your life.
1:05 And the Quran provides the ways and means of starting all over again, anytime you want to.
1:13 You can forget completely about the past and start as a totally new person beginning a totally new life.
1:21 The concept of repentance. Repentance: returning to God.
1:27 Being unaware for a while
1:30 and now deciding to return and be with God.
1:34 I have put
1:36 the theme of the new translation of Quran on the wall here
1:39 for you and I'm gonna read it
1:41 because I wanted to share it with you.
1:45 Well, before I read it, I'd like to say that finally we've discovered the secret of happiness,
1:53 the most elusive of all human searches.
2:00 The secret of happiness is in this
2:05 short theme here: "Happiness is a quality of the soul, the real person, not the body."
2:14 Therefore, a body that achieves all the material successes it longs for: money, fame, power, good looks,
2:24 carnal satisfactions often belongs to an unhappy person. The real person's happiness depends totally
2:35 on the degree of growth, development and fulfillment of the real person.
2:42 This book, the Quran, maps the road to perfect happiness for both body and soul,
2:48 both in this temporary world and in the eternal Hereafter.
2:53 So, this is the secret of happiness.
2:55 And you've seen the video that we made couple of weeks ago.
3:02 And I mentioned in it Eddie Murphy
3:05 in his interview with Barbara Walters
3:08 and how he owns this big estate in New Jersey where he has his family. His mother see him successful.
3:15 He's got the success, the fame, the movies, the TV, millions of dollars, five cars, two Rolls-Royces, a Porsche,
3:23 a Mercedes, a Corvette, yet he said that he was not happy.
3:31 So, what does a human being want in this world?
3:35 Is this what... isn't this what everybody out there thinks they want?
3:40 The millions of dollars, the Rolls Royces, the Mercedes, the estates, the palaces and he's not happy. So,
3:49 this proves once again... this been proven over and over that material success does not bring happiness.
3:57 If the soul is shrunk and not fed and not nourished, there is no happiness.
4:03 This is the secret of happiness. Nobody can be happy unless the soul is nourished and develops and grows.
4:14 Just try not to feed your body for one day and see how miserable your body is.
4:21 Try for one day not to feed your body or give it water.
4:26 The soul is exactly like that if the soul is not nourished.
4:32 But in our dimension here, we do not feel the pain.
4:36 It is reflected in what Eddie Murphy told Barbara Walters that he was not happy.
4:41 It's reflected in that.
4:43 This is the secret of happiness.
4:46 A few weeks ago, they had the Barbara Hutton story on the TV and many of you saw it.
4:51 Same thing, wealth, fame, anything she wanted,
4:58 yet you saw her in the program trying to commit suicide.
5:01 This is a true story, how miserable she was,
5:04 the exact opposite of happiness. So, what does everybody out there want?
5:09 You want money, fame, good looks, success,
5:13 but then if the soul is not nourished, there is no happiness.
5:20 The nourishment for the Soul, God teaches us in the Quran, just like mentioned in the theme in here
5:27 that the Quran maps the road to perfect happiness.
5:31 And it starts the minute you wake up. We've been learning here from the Quran
5:35 that when you wake up in the morning, the first thing you say is
5:38 BISMI ALLAH AL-RAHMAN AL-RAHIM.
5:40 Right there, it's a good snack for the Soul.
5:45 It's a bit of nourishment.
5:48 The minute you open your eyes in the morning, you say BISMI ALLAH AL-RAHMAN AL-RAHIM. LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH.
5:53 There is no god except the One God.
6:00 The Quran teaches us specifically when you admire anything that belongs to you,
6:06 you must say: Mã shã Allah
6:09 This is the Arabic. You can say it in English. "This is what God gave me" in English.
6:14 Say Mã shã Allah. You admire your car, your children, your spouse, your house, anything that belongs to you,
6:23 and this invokes protection for your belongings
6:26 and it is nourishment for the soul,
6:28 because the soul is a piece of God.
6:31 And when you say Mã shã Allah, your soul grows,
6:34 another bit of nourishment.
6:38 You praise God. You Say "ALHAMDU LILLAH."
6:41 Thank God or Praise God
6:43 when something good happens
6:44 when you finish eating.
6:45 When you start your car, you say "BISMI ALLAH" and you...
6:48 When you start eating, you say "BISMI ALLAH"
6:50 "In the Name of God."
6:53 And when you finish, you say "ALHAMDU LILLAH."
6:56 Thank God. Praise God
7:01 When you see something wonderful,
7:04 the sunrise or the sunset
7:06 or a flower
7:08 or a fruit, or anything God created, or a cute cat,
7:13 you say "SUBHAN ALLAH."
7:18 God be glorified.
7:21 SUBHAN ALLAH. God be glorified.
7:24 Any time you think of God, because your soul is a piece of God,
7:27 your soul will be nourished.
7:30 Don't just eat the apple or the orange.
7:34 Think
7:34 who made this?
7:36 Where did it come from? Where did the apple come from?
7:39 The perfect flavor, the perfect sugar,
7:42 the perfect texture, the crunchiness.
7:45 Who designed this? Where did it come from?
7:48 It came from the air, by the way,
7:50 and the liquid from the soil.
7:53 This is where the apple came from.
7:55 It starts as a little ovary
7:58 and then it grows.
8:01 The leaves of the tree collect carbon dioxide from the air and link it together in chains.
8:08 The sugar is carbon: ccccc, six carbons make one small molecule of sugar.
8:15 So, the leaves of the tree, photosynthesis. You've heard the photosynthesis
8:19 and the energy from the sun
8:22 and the water from the soil.
8:24 This is it. This makes the apple
8:27 and all the other chemicals.
8:29 Don't just eat the apple to feed your body.
8:32 Eat the apple and feed you soul by saying "SUBHAN ALLAH."
8:35 God be glorified.
8:39 Because the body, you're gonna throw away.
8:42 The soul is you
8:44 and you're gonna last forever.
8:56 The best nourishment of all is the contact prayer
9:02 making contact with God.
9:03 These are casual snacks,
9:04 Mã shã Allah (this is what has given me), Alhamdu Lillah (Praise be to God/ Thank God), Inshã Allah (God willing).
9:08 You should never say "I'm gonna do something the next hour, or at 2 o'clock or tomorrow or next month or next week
9:13 without saying "Inshã Allah," God willing.
9:17 You're gonna shock your American friends first but then they will get used to it and they will respect you later.
9:25 And you will nourish your soul, as you remind them and remind yourself.
9:30 Say "Inshã Allah."
9:32 So, these are the the snacks for the soul
9:37 and they may barely spare you misery
9:42 be it temporary or eternal Hell.
9:45 It might, but
9:50 the best nourishment is the five daily contact prayer.
9:55 These are specifically prescribed by God at specific times with specific utterances and specific movements.
10:04 It's a numerical code.
10:06 It's a combination that causes contact
10:10 with God.
10:12 Then, your soul really grows.
10:15 And like you heard on the tape, the other day,
10:18 the soul grows in leaps and bounds which makes nourishment a lot more crucial and a lot more important than your meals for the body.
10:31 because, ok, you're gonna give your body three meals today
10:34 how much would you grow today?
10:37 The children probably grow at a higher rate.
10:40 But what is the maximum you'd grow?
10:41 One pound?
10:43 Hopefully not.
10:47 But the soul, if there is a weight for the soul, you may grow by 10 tons.
10:54 The soul has a weight in the other dimension, not in this dimension.
11:01 In this dimension, I think, they determined the soul is one ounce.
11:05 They put a dying person on a scale
11:08 and they weighed him before he died and weighed him after he died.
11:11 And the difference was one ounce.
11:15 This is scientific research. They wanted to catch the soul scientifically
11:20 in the material world.
11:23 But in the other dimension, wow,
11:26 you know, when they go to the other dimension, they're gonna see the angels and the jinns and all the other creatures of the other dimension.
11:33 And one prayer, very easily, makes you grow by 10 tons.
11:42 10 tons. Iman, how many tons do you carry in your 18 wheelers?
11:48 80 tons? 80,000 pounds over 2,000 is 20 tons. 80,000 pounds over 2000 is 40 tons.
12:04 Yes, 40 tons, yes. OK. You can, you can load Iman's truck with just one prayer.
12:13 I don't think you'll forget this now.
12:16 So, this makes feeding, nourishing the soul all the more important.
12:27 In Sura 22
12:31 or is it 21? Let me
12:34 make sure so we can go and refer to it.
12:39 21. It says that "the reckoning is approaching while the people are totally unaware."
12:53 21. "The reckoning for the people is fast approaching while they are totally unaware, heedless." Reckoning of what?
13:05 It's calculating
13:08 how much you deposit it in your account, how much growth you attain for yourself.
13:16 And you can't just wait and wait and wait and then try to feed a shrunken soul.
13:22 There's such a time where it's impossible.
13:26 You have to do it everyday. You have to do as much as you can.
13:29 This is what we're really here for.
13:34 The reckoning for the people is fast approaching.
13:36 That Day will come.
13:40 Sooner than you think.
13:42 Because life goes fast.
13:45 For the young people, it seems so far away.
13:56 "The reckoning for the people is fast approaching while they are totally unaware heedless" (21:1).
14:03 Did you hear all the hullabaloo and the parties last night for the bodies that they throw away?
14:10 They did nothing for the soul.
14:14 If anything, they did things against the soul.
14:16 It went into the negative.
14:24 The Health Department was distributing condoms to the bars, so they give the drinks and condoms.
14:32 I mean, what is this?
14:35 You can be sure most of it is not legitimate relationships.
14:42 I mean, Satan had a heyday last night.
14:47 And these are negative. The souls go into the negative.
14:53 It was on the news all day yesterday. You know "don't forget; get your condoms."
15:04 [21:2] "Whenever a new reminder comes to them from their Lord, they listen to it thoughtlessly."
15:15 I mean, you remind them that they're gonna throw away their body
15:20 and their soul is gonna remain forever
15:24 and will be assigned a rank forever on the Day of Eternity.
15:30 And they are thoughtless. They "oh, sure." They're so unaware.
15:37 Their hearts are distracted.
15:40 Satan succeeded in distracting them.
15:46 And the wicked confide to each other: is he not just a human being like you?
15:52 They will not take anything from you, any advice from you.
15:55 They hate advice. They hate the Truth.
16:01 [21:3] "Would you accept magic while you see?"
16:06 Their hearts are distracted.
16:08 And in the second KHUTBA, In Shã Allah, I will... I think I discovered something I'd like to share with you
16:13 that will help us not to be distracted.
16:17 TUBU ILLA ALLAH. Repent.
16:36 ALHAMDU LILLAH, WA ASHHADU AN LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH, WAHDAHU LA SHARIKA LAH.
16:40 Praise be to God. I bear witness that there is only One God.
16:45 He has no partners.
16:56 We are a very very lucky generation.
17:02 In Sura 56, we are told that
17:08 the lower Heaven is gonna be relatively crowded.
17:12 It's gonna be full of all the children who died,
17:14 all the people who died before the age of 40
17:17 and the adults who did not nourish their souls enough.
17:23 It's gonna be like the coach in the plane
17:26 be crowded.
17:28 First class Heaven,
17:33 will not be crowded; big seats; comfortable. They all go to the same destination.
17:38 You remember going in the plane and these people sitting in first-class looking at you like
17:42 "haha, I'm in first class. I have a big seat."
17:46 And you go in there, squeeze in this coach in the plane.
17:50 You may get a seat that you just barely fit in it,
17:55 especially, if you are a little heavy weight like myself. You'll really squeeze in there.
18:01 So, the coach is gonna be very crowded.
18:04 First class, God says in Sura 56
18:10 that there will be multitudes of the early generations, which ours is one of them
18:18 and few of the later generations.
18:22 You know, God wills that this generation of ours witnesses a renewal of the message.
18:28 You know, the Christians have gone astray. They have been worshiping Jesus.
18:33 The Muslims gone totally astray worshiping Muhammad and the saints.
18:38 And the people forgot about God and all of a sudden, there comes into focus "God Alone" message
18:44 with this fantastic miracle that is coming to to enhance that.
18:49 I'm sure many many people thought of it and I have met a few of them
18:53 but they did not have the authorization or the power or this mathematical code in the Quran that points at God Alone.
19:02 19 means God is One, God Alone.
19:05 And this is our generation. you can be sure that subsequent generations will be fewer of the people.
19:14 I mean, here we are; we are pounding each other's head every day. "Let's worship God alone. Let's worship God alone."
19:19 "You're idol worshiping. I am idol worshiping."
19:22 You know, we are reminding. We are a lucky generation.
19:26 There will be multitudes of us, our generation, In shå Allah, in first class,
19:31 in the High Heaven.
19:33 Now, the difference is much greater than first class and coach of the plane.
19:39 But then as, as the message, as they move further from our witnessing of the miracle,
19:45 we are witnessing the miracle before our eyes
19:50 and as they move further, there'll be less and less, according to Sura 56.
19:56 So, we are a very lucky generation.
19:58 And this brings to us more privilege.
20:03 I will not call it responsibility. I will call it privilege
20:07 to be much more careful, to do our five daily prayers, to observe God, observe His laws
20:14 make ZIKR continuously.
20:15 Well, this reminds me.
20:17 If you get distracted, the new ZIKR...
20:20 I was listening to the Quran the other day and the reader in a beautiful voice was saying
20:26 the part of Quran where God says "do they think that I do not hear their secrets and their conspiracies?"
20:36 "Do they think that I do not hear their secrets and their conspiracies?"
20:43 And when Moses and Aaron said "we're afraid Pharaoh may kill us." God said "don't worry. I'll be with you. I hear and I see."
20:53 And this inspired me, as I was going to sleep two nights ago to say "God hears my secret
21:03 and my declarations.
21:05 God knows my secrets.
21:06 And this evolved gradually until I said "God is here in this room."
21:09 "God is here now in this room."
21:11 "God is here now in this room. God sees me, hears me."
21:15 And this is what you have to visualize and materialize.
21:19 And it has a tremendous, great effect. I'm sure your soul will grow tremendously.
21:24 And if you had any devilish thoughts, they will go away.
21:30 You just visualize God with you. God is in this room, wherever you are.
21:35 God is here now. God is with me.
21:38 This is a new ZIKR.
21:41 God is teaching us.
21:44 And it will help you a lot.
21:46 It helped me.
21:48 And this is what I'm sharing with you now.
21:52 God is with me. God is in this room.
21:55 He is... see, as we talked now. God is in this room.
21:58 God is Omnipresent in every room, everywhere.
22:04 And personally with you as well as that ant out there by the roses.
22:10 God is with that ant.
22:12 God controls everything that the ant is doing,
22:14 how much food it gets.
22:16 God is with me.
22:17 God is here.
22:20 He hears my secrets,
22:22 what I'm thinking.
22:23 And this will help a lot.
22:31 The miracle,
22:33 I'll just give you a piece of news as to what I'm doing
22:38 since we're all in this together.
22:46 What I'm doing now is
22:49 I'm gonna give the mathematical miracle of Quran a lot of attention in the coming days and weeks, In shã Allah.
22:59 And what I'm doing is I'm making a generic video tape on the miracle.
23:04 Generic means that it will just have the facts in the video
23:11 and anybody can dub his or her own language on the tape.
23:16 So, I'm going, I'm going to do the English and the Arabic.
23:20 We're gonna have Mohtasham or Abdullah or both do the Turkish.
23:24 Gatut will do the Indonesian, Malaysian. Franchesco will do the Spanish.
23:31 We're gonna dig up somebody to do the Urdu, and so on.
23:34 Susan will do the Farsi and the French because she is good in both.
23:39 So here, so we're gonna have it in English, Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, Indonesian, Malaysian, Farsi, French.

25:39 And this is the last statement before the actual facts
25:43 The Quran is mathematically coded beyond the human intelligence.
25:46 This is Arabic and English, by the way.
25:48 We're gonna have them in nice-sized cards for everybody.

25:54 This is another set, the last one, I promise.
25:57 It says "the Quran's mathematical code is based on the number 19."
26:02 And here is fact number one.
26:04 You see how simple it is.
26:06 Fact number 1: opening statement of the Quran the "Bismillah" consists of 19 Arabic letters.
26:14 This is fact number one.
26:16 Fact number 2: The Quran consists of 114 Suras or 19 X 6.
26:23 Fact number 3: First revelation of Quran was 19 words.
26:29 Fact number 4: First revelation, the 19 words, are 76 letters, 19 X 4.
26:37 First revelation is 19 verses.
26:42 And it goes on like that.
26:44 Last revelation was 19 words.
26:46 So, they're all concentrated facts.
26:49 This is the quick summary.
26:51 And then what I will have after this will be
26:54 the pictures from the Blue Book, for example, where it shows BISMI ALLAH AL-RAHMAN AL-RAHIM, broken down into letters
26:59 19 letters
27:00 and then Gatut will say it in Indonesian.
27:04 These are the documentation of these facts.
27:06 These will take only like five minutes,
27:09 all of them.
27:10 And then so we come to fact number 1, the documentation for fact number 1, Gatut will say it in Indonesian.
